You know how you see all those character posters/banners at cinemas promoting upcoming movies?  Here is my take on a MMM2 version of those, inspired by the poster of "Horrible Bosses" ...and I just want an excuse to slap those fantastic words from the MMM universe onto the drawings

The drawings were actually done for another purpose, but one day when I was walking home I saw a double decker bus with the "Horrible Bosses" banner on it and I just thought it would be fun to have something similar for the MMM flims~

I loved this peaceful little track by Joooshua that I came across. My additions were the vocals and some weird tapping, drumming, pulse stuff too. It's a short one.

Done with one red sharpie and a security envelope, for the irony, and because I wanted the envelope to feel like it was made from what was lying around. I wanted it to feel fairly low quality, jumbled and on the line of creepy-juvenile.

A while ago, I was inspired by themetafictionist's 'Dissection' picture which I did a vague doodle for and then promptly forgot about. More recently, I recommended 'I Wear My Scars' by monkeychow which had me digging up the doodle and completing it. I like the idea that everyone could do a drawing like this sharing their identifying marks and telling stories to do with them. Kind of like Jaws, only I don't live near shark infested waters so mine are of more tame stories.

Remixing for resources, hope you all can use it.

I've been working on my first animated shortfilm and I made this song for the last scene. The film is about bad dreams and stuff like that. Actually one of my pictures inspired the story. (Bad Dreams) There's a lot of work to do on the film, but I just wanted to share this here. Hope you like it! :)

The pills keep the demons from consuming me
And the monsters of memory will leave me be.

Rare moments of lucidity in my drug induced haze
Force me to remember the safe, happier days
Then the fear of what waits for me on the outside
Penetrates the numb walls behind which I hide
I desperately reach for my prescription defense
And pretend the world is not filled with violence.

Here is an updated version of the Cinematic Zombie. I didn't like how the rain looked so I pushed it behind the foreground trees (as well as sped the trees up), I think it looks much better now.

For anyone who has never been....

I normally sit in my backyard (countrygirl) and watch the sunset, nope I'm not a hopeless romantic...I just love visuals. 

The colours the sky turns in the evening is crazy, my crappy camera doesn't even capture the full extent.

I'll never regret growing up in the middle of nowhere for the sake of the colours and stars I see in pure silence....its the joy being somewhere not overshadowed by light pollution. 

Come see it for yourself sometime and if not....I'll just keep taking pictures :)

A little melody I whipped up the other night for the shadow beings collab. I don't actually think this is a good song at all. But just an example of a possible melody that I could expand on in hopefully much better ways. Maybe to be used as a shadow finally sees the sun?

I took this photo of the WTC when I was 16 years old. It was 1995 and I was on a trip with my high school marching band. Six years later as we all know these buildings along with lots of lives were distroyed by a terrorist attack. This is my visual memorial to the lives lost and to life as we know it drastically changing. 

This camera, love it.  Love the look of sunflowers when you shoot them at night.

This is my first cut of the video for the Prize. Ray's footage is really really good but there definitely needs to be more. Ahem uhhhh Regular Joe needs to record his part (calling you out bro) and also there could even be more too. Any suggestions will help as far as what else should be done to the video or should be done differently. So please watch and enjoy and leave me some feedback.

I think "Little Children" was one of the first audio records I downloaded when I joined HitRECord and I always wanted to use it for something but never found anything fitting enough. This record started out a little darker but all of a sudden it turned into something more hopeful. Which is absolutely not a bad thing :D

First (and probably last) attempt. I'm not convinced by the clouds on the Amoeba logo... and the result is very... "cold", well, I don't know. Formal? I wish I could do more, but I'm very busy doing looots of funny architectue stuff (which are not funny at all). Just wanted to give it a try.

This is my visual design concept for the amoeba event. My idea was based on how to integrate amoeba logo and existing RECollection artwork seamlessly in a fun indie way. I wanted to include many more characters but the deadline is too short..Hope you all like it..

Joe: you have to give us longer duration for the next project's deadline! I was working like a mad lady on speed for this project. AMEN to record recycling!

I was spinning yarn with some wool in shades of blue which reminded me of the cover of recollection, and remembering thimbles' amazing felted jewelry, I was inspired to go buy some needlefelting needles and see what I could do...

And I am hoping that finishing it will help persuade the canada post dieties to speed the delivery of my copy of recollection: )

I loved wirrow's "things" tiny story and illustration, so I used it to write another tiny tune. I would love love LOVE to have this remixed, harmonies, instruments (especially where the vocals have just ended) oohs and ahhs, background noises, whatever you feel like doing. If anyone's interested, I could try to get a better recording without so much background noise. And stems. Just lemme know :)

An attempt at a voiceover for fractaldust's written piece 'Cosmic Significance'

I've had this idea of doing a second reading for some time now, but I hadn't done it because I didn't have a recording device. I bought a new mobile phone last week and in celebration of being able to record again, I did a bunch of voice-overs. I'd done this one, but decided to wait until today to release it. Because today is my second anniversary as a hitRECorder, and it's a way to say thank you all for everything that's happened in all that time. 

Granted, it's not as emotional as the original one, but if you think about it you'll see how much changes in two years, including my voice. So I guess it's like an evolution. 

I've been trying to come up with something clever to say about how thankful I am that this video is still being played at the latest shows, but I can't. I remember Joe had reblogged a quote (in his tumblr) about not being able to describe or word a particular feeling because it's such a huge thing, and I think it's that. It may be worse because I am fluent in two languages and neither have enough words -or the right one, for that matter- for me to say how happy it makes me to know that people are still watching it. It's strange, yes, but it's more than that. It also makes me think Joe's insane. Then again, to have come up with such a thing like hitRECord and to have brought it thus far, he has to be. It's the only way to see the sense of it. 

I love you all, I thank you all, and I hope I can meet you all one day.

I had a dream about making this REmix last night. Then I woke up and did it :)

Took Cacheth's beautiful "Circuitous Beats" video and combined it with videotroph's "circulation" text. As cacheth's piece is quite short I played on the idea of repitition, and where videotroph used symbols in the text, I tried to pair the words in the reading with appropriate visuals!
