Quick note: The camera I usually use to share my stuff with the internet is missing its battery charger. I have a scanner now though but of course it's a generic size. Part of this (and the last Personette piece) has been cut off. I scanned it numerous of times trying to get her all in. Some sacrifices were made but easily reproduced by others if you decide to remix.

That's why we're here after all, to add/finish to others work. :)

My interpretation of Metaphorest's sentence, "And that was when Walter realised that his beloved 'Minky' was, in fact, a common sewer rat..." was a bit pessimistic. Luckily for Walter and Minky, Damsel's take on it was positive.

So as the hand was getting closer to midnight I tried to think of what could possibly be my first doodle of the year. Then I really put some thought into it and realized not only would this be the first doodle of the year but the first doodle of the decade!

I was stumped. So I figured the wide world web would be of some help and it would also be a nice way to introduce myself to this year.

I made a post on my tumblr asking for help/input on what my doodle for the new year would be. I knew it would get my mind ticking and it did. I had an overwhelming response!

It was really hard to pick but what narrowed it down was the following. I wanted to be a bit challenged but at the same time I wanted it to be quite simple because that's exactly how I would this year to be like, ha. I also wanted to blend myself within the requester's idea:

"Doodle a unicorn flying a "Amelia Earhart" style airplane, scarf and goggles and all, perhaps through some clouds. :)"

And this is what came from it.

(Be on the look out though, I now have a list of awesome requests. Many of which involve zombie. C'mon, who doesn't love the undead!?)

I have been playing violin for most of my life, and I recently fell in love with watercolor paint. Can you actually fall in love with an art material? Well, it happened. Anyway, random ideas tend to invade my brain, and this was one of them. It was too big for my scanner though, so sorry that the photo quality kind of sucks.
