There is a lot of things going on in my life these days, and I found myself dreaming a lot at night, while I am sleeping, but also, sometimes, I am daydreaming about a lot of things, and well, since I am at HR, I always come here to express my feelings and fortunately I always found amazing records to remix that help me to translate my feelings through art. I hope you like it guys!
A song about a one-sided chipmunk relationship. Trying something...err...different!
(Ps. I can upload the non-chipmunk version too if anyone wants!)
Today he wore purple, my favourite shade
And that was my favourite song that he played
I know that he winked at me when he walked by
Although you say it was just dirt in his eye
His friend's sister's boyfriend said my hair was lovely
And that's how I know that he loves me
We're like Romeo and Juliet
And just cos he doesn't know my name yet
Doesn't mean that we're not meant to be
It's so easy to see that he loves me
He wrote me a letter, anonymously
Put it on the internet for all to see
He's so understanding, he knows that I'm shy
You ask why he left out my name – well that's why
He likes to be cryptic, so he writes me stories
And that's how I know he adores me
You gotta look between the lines
He'ssending me love letters all of the time
If you just read the seventh word in every tweet
You'll see that he's swept off his feet
He could call if he wanted, but phones are passe
And, anyway, he talks to me every day
In our own secret code only we understand
Us modern day lovers don't need to hold hands
See he threw a big party and I was invited
So I know that my love's requited
This is just a first draft-I know people are still putting up videos. I REALLY want to have people talking about their RECollections, but it's hard with music in the videos-so if you guys could upload versions without music, I would love you forever. Also, there were a few videos that I couldn't get to work with my computer, and I wasn't able to change the format of, so I couldn't use them. I'll do more drafts of this as more people upload their footage.
One last request-I'd REALLY love to have everyone holding up their RECollections and saying "again by heart." If not, that's cool, but it was just an idea I had.

"SootyPaws is just the cat next door and he's in love" -
A perverse new character i've created, who'll soon have some new friends hehe! Hope you enjoy - the humour is dark and weird (so if your easily offended avoid) It imagines life - unapolagetically through the eyes of a cat.
For remixing and collab, id love if folks wanted to have a go making a short 15 second theme song for SootyPaws, that i could use as an intro and outtro!
Well, uh, he's called Cornelius, so...
Cornelius the cat was an eccentric fellow,
Dressed in all the colours from blue to yellow,
With patterns never seen on a feline before,
Clothes colourful and brash, he did so adore!
He was shunned by his peers for his curious dress,
And even his family thought his style was a mess,
For his taste in loud colours went beyond what he wore,
Bold colours could be seen on his walls and his floor.
No visitors came calling, or rang on the phone,
So Cornelius spent most of his time all alone,
“I won’t change who I am for anyone ” he said,
As he played with a ball of bright orange thread.
He did have one cousin who’s taste was the same,
Cornelius kept his portrait in a colourful frame,
But his cousin would hide his penchant for loud colours,
Dressing plainly in public to be just like the others.
While Cornelius could envy his cousin at times,
Getting phone calls and visitors would be so sublime!
But changing who he was simply to get along,
Going against his true nature just seemed so wrong.
For Cornelius the cat enjoyed being unique,
Looking like everyone else wasn’t such a feat,
For what was so special about all being the same?
Cornelius thought not standing out was a shame.
So Cornelius will stay in his colourful home,
Without any visitors or calls on the phone,
And wear colours with patterns that are both bold and brash,
And continue to be different from all other cats!
been inspired by some really awesome paper cut out designs i've seen lately. so i tried putting similar paper cut outish type things together and then it started turning into a fall formal scene. in the end i think it's a little bit boring for a poster but maybe someone can make sthng else out of it.
irrelevant question : do you like artists that keep trying new styles out or artists that have a distinct style that they stick to?

Inspired by Michal's "The Grand Opening" video, I decided to try it too!
Okay, I cannot draw figures (flowers yes, people no), but every time I hear "Brutal Waltz" by Haus_of_Glitch I get this image in my head of a post-apocalyptic ball with couples in formalwear and gas masks stomping through this industrial broken-machine waltz while the smoke insinuates itself/themselves into the dance. So, I sketched this out--poorly, I'm afraid, but it's the best I can do. Maybe someone with more skill than me can do something with it or with the idea.

I used clips from a great film from 1964 entitled Silent Snow, Secret Snow. The story was written by Conrad Aiken in 1934, and the film was produced and directed by Gene Kearney. He made another version in the 70's which is not in public domain, but is available if you search for it under the title on YouTube. That version was made for the TV series, Night Gallery and starred the same kid who played the younger version of David Carradine on Kung Fu. It was narrated by Orson Wells.
I thought Johhny Clyde's vision and music were practically a perfect match to this story - I hope at least some of you agree!
