This is my remix for the fall formal featuring the Shadows! I hope you like it guys!!!

I love all the contributions to this collaboration - especially the public domain footage, so I wanted to have a go remixing it all together. I don't think it's necessarily fully-formed (is a RECord ever?) but I thought it might work as a base or inspiration for other people making theirs.

I'm still really psyched about joining hitRECord yesterday so I made another 3D thing for everyone.  Enjoy!

I saw, heard and felt all of these records in one tight little group and they sort of made a story for me all on their own. I recorded this two weeks ago, right after I reRECed Reverie's poem 'Ghost King' and mostly_harmless's image 'A Place Called Home', both tremendous pieces in my mind.

'Garden Full of Bones' by AVonDyne and 'Et In Arcadia Ego' by Anthologia seem like possibilities for the queen's impetuses for her reasoning, maybe what pushed her along in her life. I've used 'Roots of the Forgotten' before - in a hand-made collage piece ('Snip snip snippety snip') and just can't really get over the organic quality - it's so bruised and so full of hurt and damage that I have to remind myself it is only paper. Here, it seems to serve as a testament to her end. And I really felt, in my heart of hearts, that her end came in djnamelis's 'Forest 20'. Venns's 'The Monolith' seems to me to have the enormity of the impact that this queen would have had, the enormity of reverence amongst the people she left behind. It matches in gravity the regal, unafraid stance of dreamskilledtherealitystar's 'Queen of the Iceni'. And what can I even say about Johhnyclyde's 'So It Seems'? I must have listened to this a hundred times while trying to cut all the stills together (sorry - such an amateur) and I never ever tired of it.

Anyway. Hopefully, you like it. And if you don't, hopefully you might REmix it into something you do... <3

I can't go to the Fall Formal. But if I was going to go, I have the perfect dress! So I thought I'd make a video of my (fictional) gussying up for the big night.

I took this picture at the "Rio Viejo" (Old River) in Nicaragua, I took a lot of continuous shots and this is one of the results!!! :o)

back in the early days of hitRECord, one of the very first collabs was the Photo Journal Collaboration. lisa organised it for a little blue suitcase to roam around the world for a year or so, visiting different hitRECorders. inside were two cameras & each person could use only one shot on each to capture something. magnificently the suitcase reached every person & returned home full of treasure. each person was allowed to take one thing from the case in exchange for adding something new on the way & when it returned it was packed with wonderful things. one such item was a heart that lit up like a heartbeat. lisa took a video of it, which inspired this little moving snapshot. 

Just messing around, anyone has any ideas what to do with it let me know

I was chillaxing Sunday afternoon browsing images on hR while watching football games when I came across a cool scan of a painting by Jaded12.  The sign in the painting inspired me to recreate the sign in 3D. 

This is my first RECord inspired by someone else's work, so I'm hoping I did the resource thing right. 

I loved the idea of taking a picture using mirrors or reflective surfaces.  I thought the standing in front of the window would be like a gorgeous silhoutte in color.  I thought the brick background really added a nice touch, If I were in a band I would have like to have someone else in the right lens, but I ended up putting my electric guitar there.

I have a long standing love affair with Dandruff's "Truly Human" record and Joe's "Breezy Burns" footage. About a year ago I made a video, HitREcord Makes Us Truly Human. I thought now might be a nice time to revisit it, throw in some work form the past shows, what we have been doing over the past year.

(I constructed and sewed the ears on the hood and then hand embroidered the little wirrow logo onto the pocket)

EDIT: Adding it to the summer collection! Not sure if eared hoodies would be feasible, but hey, zip up hoodies would be awesome so perhaps someone could adapt this

Okay, after a bajillion downloads and getting to know my computer screen really well, here's my first go at posting a video for HitRECord.  Woo!

I'm a stargazer. This is a two hour time lapse of the stars circling overhead. Might want to go full screen when viewing this one :D

I wanted to practice drawing people in interesting poses. For some reason this came to mind. In tribute to MattConley's awesome re-rec video skits. Sorry Matt, I know it doesn't really look like you! Also apologies for the crappy quality. The reason I work in lineart has as much to do with the fact that I like it as it does that my scanner completely destroys any detail (I really need a new one.)

I actually wrote this in January after the first time I read tommacarte's "The Same." I know he provided chords but I couldn't get this folksy tune out of my head and it was C G Am F for me...again. 

Here's some raw footage of me with the things I've bought from the RECord store: the shadow heart t-shirt (plus button), the RECollection (sans the vinyl because it's no longer available as I understand) and the tiny book of tiny stories.

Like I said, the footage is raw, there is no sound, so editors can have at it!

Another experiment! Hope its useful for something!

I was kind of bored from uploading all of the amoeba footage so I decided to bust out the old xylophone and toy piano and this is what I came up with. REMIX it!!!

This was made purely for giggles, and also because this was one of the first tiny stories I ever read on hitRECord, and I have secretly been horribly offended on the behalf of circles everywhere for almost a year now.

What makes me look forward to fall is the thought of having a reason to put them back on, and I dread springtime, when they have to disappear in the closet for another season. And, needless to say, I'd pick them over high heels any time! ;)

yes that is a duck and no i don't know why i'm holding a hula hoop and no i am not holding a pair of orange testicles those are ear muffs because i am told it will be cold in the theater and no i'm not wearing pants so the ear muffs would be kind of obsolete and yes those are dinosaur feet and yes that is a unicorn horn and clearly i don't understand the purpose of a cumberbun and yes i know that's not really how you spell it and yes those are moustaches on my underpants and no those are not mickey mouse ears they are panda ears and no i cannot explain the hitRECord button band thing on my thigh just go with it.

This is something I shot with a buddy when we found this abandon school. I have more footage but just wanted to throw this together to see what ya thought. We're gonna go back and do something a little more thought out soon. Would love for someone to write and story, or give any ideas where to take a narritave.

I shot another time lapse! This one is three and a half hours condensed down to twenty seconds. The earth spins kinda slow :) Heard this track Floating Leaves on the hitRECord homepage and thought it'd fit nicely. Me thinks I was right. What do you think?
