When I eventually make a final version of this animation: I am going to continue to tweak the lighting, I will touch up the track matte a bit when the man walks thru, and I think I will add more vector props (more trash, bottles, and mess to the scene.)

Making a snow effect over the characters (to match the pacing and fluffiness of the snow falling in the footage) was a huge challenge on this one, but I think I pulled it off. What do you think? I also had more time today so I was able to add sound effects and dialogue to further the narrative.

Motion Monster #2 "Mossy the Mushroom Monster"

This take is much smoother because I removed most of the camera chaos that I had attempted; I wasn't pulling it off well at all, maybe I will try it again when I have honed more tricks and skills. I still left some of the handheld camera wiggle though, I like that, and I pushed the eyes' movements a little further. This is fun! I am learning so much on these.

*Also Note* This starts and ends exactly the same, so it is a loop-friendly animation.

Motion Monsters #1

Testing out a few new After Effects tricks I have been learning. So here is a fun little test animation I made with jessolantern's "Perspective" footage (1018003) and Soupy's loveable "Frances" character (1010240).

The motion tracking is a bit rough and the lighting still needs work, but that's why this is a test animation and I am learning!
