i am super excited for this!
For CamCam's lovely sunset footage :)
for stevie :) and wirrow obviously. and everyone else.
wrote some music for anne hathaway's reading of flockofwords' shadow caste prologue. tried to edit the reading as best as i could (get rid of applause, long pauses, etc) but it is far from perfect =/
Decided to add some piano music to Sherb's beautiful reading. The music doesn't start until about 2 minutes in, fyi.
listen with headphones!
as soon as i saw/heard this story, i knew i had to write music to go with it. i got stuck for awhile (i had only the first 30 seconds or so written for about a month) but i finally got my creative juices flowing!
fun fact: the melody of the king's midnight song is actually "Dies Irae," a Gregorian chant that's often used in Romantic music to symbolize death. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dlr90NLDp-0 now you can impress your friends with your awesome music knowledge.
i hope you like it, Day Glo!
I wish someone would make visuals to go with this!
my score for the turnip head film! let me know what you think!
i had marieiv's animation start at 00:06:14:64 and it synced up quite well.
first time i've ever written in 9/8, i think.
<3
This is really simple, but I like it that way. What do you think?
Special thanks to lidan for making me do this :D
REQUEST FOR REAL INSTRUMENTALISTS: http://hitrecord.org/records/655528/
Pretty much I just score whatever lidan tells me to.
LOOK MA NO ARPEGGIOS!
I'm aware Day Glo is a bit quiet. This issue will be fixed in the next version <3
Now with real instruments :D
I also played around with some panning, so this is best listened to on headphones or good speakers!
I've chosen to upload this without Day Glo's reading because I'm not the best audio editor and couldn't seem to get the white noise out of his recording without distorting it. I'm hoping someone who is better at it than me can do that!
Thanks to everyone who contributed! <3
I'm really really cool and this is how I spent my Friday night.
The 5 seconds of silence at the beginning are to better align with Day Glo's reading.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who contributed!! <3

I used some VSTs to make the strings fuller, and the glock is also a VST but shhhh it's a secret
My remix of Waltz of the Freaks Act II for Edward Shallow's "Dr. Sweet Tooth's Show of Wonder"
The reading is pretty bad, I stumble over my words a few times and I also have a cold. But it's mostly to give voiceover artists an idea of how I think the timing could work. Obviously it doesn't have to be exact, and you could do something completely different, but yeah.
I'll upload the music file by itself mometarily!
Also, the organ got mixed up at the beginning, but that'll be fixed in the music only version
Did a few magic tricks to make the mix sound fuller ;) also I forgot to put reverb on the horns in v3 because I suck, so I fixed that.
Whaddya guys think of this one? I know Joe said he wanted more instruments but I was able to make it sound bigger without them sooo maybe that's not necessary? IDK. You tell me!
I'm waiting on my horn & clarinet players to make hitRECord accounts so I can properly resource them >.<

scored wirrow's "give me all the flickering lights"
like everything else in the world, this is best listened to on headphones or good speakers.
i couldn't decide whether to fade it out or end it suddenly sooo... i ended it suddenly and video editors can fade it out if they think that works better :)
Decided to combine Johnny's AMAZING flickering lights score with mine! All I had to do was speed up the tempo of mine slightly, change the key, adjust some levels, and add some stuff at the end! I was actually surprised at how well they worked together.
i supposed i could have had only one wirrow voice, but i thought this sounded cooler.
