I love sunsets and september is giving me a lot of them, and they have been just amazing, maybe because this is the month of my birthday :o) this one was taken at the Nicaraguan lake!
I drew this sakura for my another drawing... which was manga style so I didnt upload it here! anyway it took long time to draw the sakura so I thought I should upload this :D if anyone wanna use the sakura I have the one without colours! let me know!
Took the last shot in the storyboard to final color for my senior thesis. The whole thesis turned out nice, I think, and I am pretty proud. :) Now I'll have some time to work on personal art and contributions for this site!
This is the first encounter Edgar has with Wink. He wakes up in a familiar, yet still strange place, with Wink's massive head nose-to-nose with his own.
Ed still has yet to realize that he's visiting his own imagination, and Wink has been conjured by his subcoscious to deal with the desertion of him and his mom by his dad.
I put this on postcard collab, I think it it will be cool the person who use the blank part to write down or draw or anything thereas a part of this drawing :) and the characther is wearing HT t-shirt is pretty summery :)
Thanks to RedHeadMonster for helping the story :)
I coloured the drawing but wasn't sure if the colours suit the drawing and the story or maybe someone can come up with better story with this drawing? :) cause I am not good at making stories!
anyway I gonna upload the coloured one later...! Thank u so much again RedHeadMonster! <3
I am no photographer. In fact, I took this picture with my phone. But when nature does all the work for you, it's hard not to feel like you're fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time, discovering something beautiful by accident :).
I'll never forget this storm approaching....All around me reflected this tent of color, making everything feel so warm. Ironically the storm left you feeling empty/cold due to the damage all around.
Part of a series about the places in our minds we retreat to when we are lost.
If there is another photo in the series you would like to work with, let me know and I will add more hi-res versions here. The series can be seen below:
Crayon and ink ilustration for my art history class word relation short story... my words were: Boat, shore, love, soul, blue, sea, paper, rock and death.
I picked up a pen today after long weeks with not drawing anything. This is just a doodle, with no specific idea behind, other than my love for trees, owls, creatures and stars.
I hope someone can use this for something :D (If anyone wants a version without the text, let me know)
Dedicated to all the lovely people who helped me when i struggled during the last months, who cheer me up and who make me smile and who inspire me (mainly all of you) but esp. metaphorest, fraeulein, moisanom, wirrow, pamagotchi, pen, tia, alaa, julia.
For metaphorest tiny story.
I hope you like it, hon. I didn't want to draw 'real' looking humans but didn't want the sun and moon to look boring hence the anatomically totally incorrect beings. (when do i ever draw anatomically correct things though)
She's into environmentally-conscious fashion... :)
Longray all dressed up for the fall formal. She's just the beginning of the picture but I just couldn't wait to RECord
My REcords that have received 3 or more hearts (thank you, everyone!), with titles to facilitate easier searching.

Back from 2007 for Valentine's day
I was inspired by a song... How even the simplest of things like heart balloons can make a dead tree beautiful
POSER & Photoshop
wanted to draw something in kimono,
old times arranged marrige was common so the girl was in love with someone but she could never tell and had to get married with someone else ...... anyway FYI its not blood hehe its heart...! I noticed it looks like blood after I finished ! ahhh!
this photo is a "happy accident"...this morning i was taking a pic of leaves in the water and when i got home and uploaded it, i saw there was the reflection of a tree on the bank.
I'm so scared of heights but I can't help but be transfixed when I see videos of parachutists/cliff divers/ sky divers. I guess that's my way of grasping for courage, that ultimately isn't there, while seeing people do what I'm afraid to do.
Hello again, everybody. It's been a long, long time. Hope you are all very well.
I found my mind wandering toward Stitchtown recently, and felt it would be fun to actually contribute something. I've only ever added the initial sketch, and nothing beyond that. However I've had some thoughts on the old place.
I should preface the follwing few documents with the confession: I am, sadly, in no way up to date on the Stitchtown canon. Sorry. If any of the following conflicts with it, then by all means ignore it.
The main thing I had been thinking about was not Stitchtown per se, but the world it exists in, and the rules of that world. I'll expand on that in a mo, but in the meantime, here's some Stitchers hunting clouds in the dawnlight.
Acrylic on Canvas.
Completed 5/21/11 - 17hrs to complete. The smaller details aren’t captured with my iphone cam but you get the point. :)
Somehow a random practice doodle in Photoshop turned into a crossover of Josephine and Little Red Riding Hood...
My brain tends to do weird things when I'm tired :S
So, hitrecorders, I feel the hankering for a challenge. :D If you like, share with me a portrait you'd like me to sketch out. I really need to practice more!
This one is of the lovely JulesKD, who's my friend and the reason I discovered hR in the first place. Only fitting I start with her. ;D
My grandpa passed away today from cancer. I wanted to do a little something for him.
I'll miss you, grandpa, I hope you're happy and at peace. Thank you for everything you've done for us, for giving me my love for horses, which helped me so much growing up, for teaching me to drive cars, tractors, and stick, for giving me places to run wild and explore, for always being so patient and caring. I love you so much.
while the original shot by linedreamer is so beautiful, and i love it with more color remixed - i wanted to see another side of it with a darker tone and more focus on the woman's face...
there is something about a sunrise that no matter where in the world i am takes my breath away. this is one photograph slightly photoshopped. figured the sky could be filled with words or other images or...
Thought this might be something to inspire illustrations for the Little Red Riding Hood project! I shot these a couple years back with my friend, Hannah Fierman.
