["attune" was a recording project that I did with my friends Byrce Young and Laura Yin back ~2004-05. These tracks are just collecting dust now, so we're giving them a second chance at life here on HitRECord - GO! - <3 brookeduckart]
Lyrics:
amongst the conflicts of our heads
we fear admitting what we did
so we make excuses instead
didn't mean to...
didn't think you...
didn't realize…
didn't want to...
didn't know you…
didn't tell you…
didn't want this…
I don't know what to do.
time has its way of playing games
changing focus on who's to blame
the guilty party refuses to be named
didn't mean to...
didn't think you...
didn't realize…
didn't want to...
didn't know you…
didn't tell you…
didn't want this…
I don't know what to do. (3Xs)
murdering many
in this process
of denying
who we are
tucking memories
back
covering
our scars
news stories
getting skewed
evidence hiding
far away
can you really trust what they say?
stay safe
stay still
stay silent in your shadow
only when your caught
are you really a criminal (?)
we fear admitting what we did
so we make excuses instead
didn't mean to...
didn't think you...
didn't realize…
didn't want to...
didn't know you…
didn't tell you…
didn't want this…
I don't know what to do.
Guitar track for Robo_J's Request

PAPA CHATTIN ABOUT THE FAMINE AND EARLLY IRISH ANCESTORS. THOUGHT ID SHARE HES A VULGAR YET HILARIOUS MAN. LOVE N MISS YA POP!
This reminds me of the Balanese Dancers who dance to an abstract sound...
Update: I'm rreallly not sure if this is a Public Domain melody...can anyone help me out!?
A Maori lullaby written in 1907 by Princess Te Rangi Pai. I have long been fascinated by the Maori culture and language, and this is one of my favourite songs...so beautiful.
It was published in 1907, which, from my understanding means it is in the Public Domain...if it's not, humblest apologies and I will take this to the Deletion Collab without further ado.
Anyway, this is Monday Night Lullaby...goodnight! <3
Ps I really hope I haven't massacred the pronounciation!
E tangi ana koe
[You are weeping]
Hine e hine
[Little girl, darling girl]
E ngenge ana koe
[You are weary]
Hine e hine
[Little girl, darling girl]
Kati tö pouri rä
[Be sad no longer]
Noho i te aroha
[There is love for you]
Te ngäkau o te Matua
[In the heart of the father]
Hine e hine
[Little Girl, darling Girl]

A piano played a little melody and began to stutter. After he gets angry, he calmed down. Hard to explain what is in my mind, sorry :P
My Dad taught me this chord when I was really little and he called it the John Lennon Chord.
Nothing special, really. Just something I put together on the fly. I'm a long standing fan of hip-hop, so that's what I was going for. If you guys like these, feel free to use them by all means!
Some dusty sounding piano riffs. Enjoy.
raw footage of my friends and I just noodling on the wurlitzer.
...montage for feature film.
This is a raw recording of acoustic guitar. There are no effects applied.
The structure is based on two segments repeated.
Enjoy!
A Funky Blue Groove - BPM 120
a record is a method of repetition. repeat it long enough you get tradition generation after generation a record is a method of repetition.

Traditionnal sound of Mongolia, recorded in Khovd
track i started on sunday, NEEDS bassline, or 808 bass, more instrumentation, toy piano, more noises, more sounds, if anyone wants to help, that would be awesome
edit: added to the RE: Bible collab because, well, that's what this song is about and the collab is gonna need some background music. thanks.
lyrics:
voy a intentar a no preocuparme con las cosas que no se pueden verificar
si sabes la verdad, por favor dimela, realidad, producto de imaginar.
i got Gideon's book in my back pocket,
always there but nobody saw it
okay, i admit, it's just superstition,
but you gotta respect the allure of religion,
seductive, almost masochistic,
in plain ol' King James English, if you missed it,
it was the 666th edition, also called the Luciferian revision,
they eat flesh, they drink blood,
awaiting a fire, awaiting a flood,
they said they believe, but they'll never learn,
their boats still sink, and their houses still burn.
they eat flesh, and they drink blood,
awaiting a fire, awaiting a flood,
they said they believe, but they'll never learn,
their boats still sink, and their houses still burn.
translation of chorus: i will try not to occupy myself with things that can't be verified. If you know the truth, please tell it to me. Reality is a product of Imagination.
The knife is used to cut, but the wound will heal itself.
The knife is used to cut, but the wound will heal itself.
I wrote this weeks ago and recorded it recently only to find that I didn't know how I felt about it. After listening to it for a while I decided to post it. The last 30 seconds are my favorite.
(I changed my mind on what to name the song. It was called That Mysterious Woman first but not it's called The Puppeteer)
ok, kids, for your REmixing pleasure... i grabbed one of the segments of joe putting his signature on the checks, looped it, then asked my sound engineer sweetie-pie to try and remove some ambient computer noise. of course he couldn't resist playing! and this is the snazzed-up result. pretty fun! & hopefully useful to you music monsters out there. <3
Ok, so I made this track, added the drums, bass, guitars, but that's all i could do. My mind just stopped working. So I figured why not let other awesome hitRECorders do the rest?
So the track is called "The Secret". Its just a title I came up with while listening to it, we'll change it later on once its complete. Its made up of 4 layers.
1) Piano 1
2) Drums
3) Bass
4) Piano 2
Musicians:
Just listen to the track, and add ANYTHING you think suits the music. Guitars, synths, harmonicas, heavy electric guitars, harps, vocals, ANYTHING! Just make sure that when you add the new layer, release it as a RECord mixed with this track, but also as a seperate STEM so it can easily be mixed.
Check the STEMS of this track once they're uploaded. I've also included sheet music for both Piano's, cuz it'll just sound 100 times better if anyone can play them with a REAL piano, as the ones on this track are from a VST.
Writers/Lyricists:
Your lyrics don't need to be on a specific theme, such as "The Secret". Don't keep the title in mind when writing, just write about anything you think suits this type of music, anything you want to write about.
Track details are:
KEY: G Major/ E Minor
Signature: 6/4 at 170BPM
I hope this works out well, really excited how it'll turn out.
Upbeat dancey thingy I made.
