All hearts given for this week.
for your remixing purposes!
This is a verrrry rough recording on my ipad of what I have so far with my Fall Love Song. Please ignore all of my "do do do's" and "la de da's", I still need more lyrics if anyone would like to make some suggestions, right now I write about one line a day, so it might be winter by the time I finish! Anyway, i would love to see if anyone has any ideas for lyrics or arrangements besides just the piano. I'm really curious to see how this would sound with a guitar or something instead, but I lack the skills :(
Chords used are (in no particular order) C, Am, G, and F, and Fm once I think.
so i was playing around with saintmaker's amazing photo & somehow a scary red wolflike demon with a conveniently wide open mouth emerged subtley from the background... surely a sign from the photoshop gods that i'd gotten a chance to redeem myself for that last LRRH REmix i did. hope this serves as an interesting poster for our little red collab! <3
Not that Sarah Frances's beautiful doodle needed to be remixed, but it reminded me of some ocean waves I had done, and then I got curious about how they'd look remixed together.
An animated version (more like slideshow thanks to the low frame rate) based on my illustration for Sparksee05's "Tiny Breakfast", accompanied by Joe's reading of the tiny story from the HR show at Seattle. Any suggestion for music to go with this?
So... I have been thinking about doing an animation version of this for a while and the original plan I had was to do this over Christmas holiday (when I would have a chance to benefit from my brother's sagely advice). However that plan got thrown out of the window when the boss decided to freak us out by giving us with an invisible deadline :P
I don't know what possessed me to think that I could actually pull this off in such short time frame (1 and a half day), seeing that I have virtually zero experience in animation except for the few odd gifs I have made and the textbook-corner-doodle-animation I did when I was in primary school. The only way I know how to animate anything at the present time is to draw them out frame by frame so that's what I ended up doing and halfway through the process I seriously considered stabbing myself with my Wacom tablet.
A little song that emerged out of my musical doodles :)
Earlier today, Cacheth made an awesome animation of mirtle's drawing, for Dina and RegularJoe's tiny story. She asked if someone could add Pamagotchi's reading - maybe it would fit better with the girl - and so I did this.
The music is a wonderful "Virgin-Suicide-y" little piece by JeffPeff, I absolutely love it and thought it would fit well with the atmosphere (and the spaceship !).
I really am a beginner at editing things (I still use iMovie you know) (haha), so it's not perfect but I'm kind of happy with it. What do you think ?? :)

I hope this one actually plays!
Suzy Rene helped me out amazingly with improving the lyrics to my translation of Sarah's wonderful "Telephone"..and then I got kinda carried away with effects, wanting it to sound sorta vintage/vinyl-y/old record-y.

To My Future Daughter a poem by: Blbest
You are and always will be beautiful. Never forgive me if I don’t tell you that enough. .................. Never let anyone tell you your worth, knowing you’re an endless vault of sun brewed tea and campfire, ginger snap and jazz, late night movie marathon and miracle. Don’t ever let them define you. Because you, will only ever be you, and no one will do it better.................................

The other video kept encoding... changed the file-type so hopefully this one is a bit more encoding-less. Fingers crossed!
The idea of owl treewarmers tickled my fancy so here's another tiny stop-motion.
Hey Guys!
Here's a another sort-of-retro-ish animation for everyone! Enjoy!

An edited version of my previous upload to incorporate wirrow and totallyjamie's suggestion regarding the timing of the final shot. Also many thanks for LilacAmy11's remixed version which provided the idea for music (which, ironically is called Eggy"Iggy's Death") and ending bumper.
I was hoping to do some frame rate improvement as well but I have yet to find a suitable video editing software to do the job :S
Ha, this was cute, I couldn't resist!
ANDROID EYES IN A TWO-SUN TOWN
Dissect the ocean to make it pleasurable
Calibrate the sunset, get out your measuring tools
You move like an android tangled up in circuitry
Dark as the full moon framing a cemetery
You've cracked the lantern, burned every map at both ends
You've got your lips curled into a spiral oak grin
A silver frost to blight all stalks of corn and spark turmoil
Is resting sweetly in your head
I've skimmed the book: you toss the hook and look distraught; you burn oil
Till someone offers you a bed
Waken that old ship just to author firewood
Trip on your footprints just like a bad liar would
All painted marble dressed up to look rare as gold
With eyes like caverns twisting toward some latent soul
Moss and ivy are clouding up bark and brick
My trampled leaves envy how your needles stick
The dust is building, coating those old cedar stairs
And though two suns howl, the ground's as cold as your glare
The iron chains that bind your mind and blind your eyes are kindling
To keep the pyre blowing heat
The only way that you can sense the wind is in the bending
Of olive blades around your feet
(Sorry in advance
I know the ice is getting thin
And I swear I'm not trying to embarrass you
But it seems to me
When you see something that you like
Your legs open faster than a parachute)
In which I attempt to answer some questions, and give some thoughts of my own on the season, the reason, and my own love for this holiday. (And why I keep Halloween in my heart year 'round.)
Hope this is along the lines of what you were looking for, Joe! ^_^

Tried to do proper lip-synching for the first time, it's not easy. All the sound effects (apart from the voice-over) are from freesound.org

My video remixture of the jar, summer hobby, pickling jars.
chopped and scored by me.
Played around with Eskapurla's animation of MadisenMusic's "Hursery" Tiny Story.
The remix consists of:
* Titles
* hitRECord bumper
* An alternate VO take by RegularJOE
* Movement added to the animation (mainly in press/media cutaways)
* Alternate sound effects (microphone squeel, camera flashes, gavel, coughing in the courthouse, etc.)
* Reverb on the effects
* Establishing zoom-in shot of the courthouse
Played around a bit with 12:42's "Proposition... (a tiny film)" and brought it down from a minute+ to just over 30 seconds to fit in line with most of the other Tiny Films.
Essentially the beginning was altered a little bit, and the end as well. The middle section was reduced quite a bit due to length. I tried to sample the parts I thought were the stand out moments and fit them into a remixed musical soundtrack.
This version is now just shorter all around and tightened up a bit.
Will post the raw footage later.

Had a go at improvising a song whilst listening to Ozie's "Lost Objects" piano score.
Some very chilled out jazzy bluesy tunes before bed time <3
Improvised Lyrics are as follows:
A star shining above me
Is no different to the light
That I see in your eyes
All my life I've been wishing
On that star
For someone
Like
You.
Once upon a time I did music for a short film called "Funny Business" and realized that I never gave anyone the exclusive rights to it and could upload it on here. Oh happy day!
Wrote music for a short film awhile ago, realized I could legally upload it on here, huzzah.

All of the great footage being uploaded for OWS has really got me inspired, and tonight after singing through some music for another project, I sat down at my computer and recorded this impromptu performance of one my favorite songs.
This Little Light of Mine is a public domain song, often considered a children's spiritual. What I love about it is how the simple lyrics (and I only used one set, the most famous, here) can be interpreted in a great many ways. For me, the song is about making your voice heard and your presence felt, and for that reason it's the song I think of whenever I see groups of people protesting.
i used to fly with peter pan in videoland and i saw people coming out from underground. gather up you silent searchers and lets go loudly into quiet churches lets surround the walls of guarded buildings and make our sound. lets invade palaces, they are always around when we sing out their anthems but not when we drown in video lala
When I made this song I was seeing someone getting off the train station on a cold wintering day.
Hey Guys!
As you all probably know by now, I spend my evenings trying to get awesome at AE. Here's another animation showing off what I learned today. Enjoy!

Sorry for the title. I know it's dumb but I just don't know what else to call it or how to describe but just as an epic instumental rock song.
People make films out of the stories that already exist. Let´s try the other way around. Help me make this footage in to a story.
Some of the footage is not of the best quality and some of the scenes are rely long, but I wanted to let you se the hole story and to give you as much freedom as possible to edit the footage to your own liking. I hope that someone will be inspired to do something cool out of this. For starters, the film desperately needs a soundtrack.
Naturally, you can pick it apart completely and use some smaller part you need for yore own stuff. Fore example there is footage of a snowcowerd park, a door that opens and a crowded street in Sweden.
Excuse the horrible spelling. I don´t usually write in englisch and I´m dyslectic.
