Happy Sunday, beautiful people!
Well, this week I'm resorting to a right-wicked "reREC & Run," which is completely cheating on my part. I really don't like doing it, as I'm not able to scribble my accolades & ideas for folks & things.
However, I have an especially monstrous pile of reRECs this week (heavy on the audio, of course), and some of you know how my brain works :p I interpret possible REmixes in just about everything, and since music is my drug-- well, I went a bit bananas. I want a banana icon, right about now...
Some reRECs are my favorites from the Featured (again, just in case some poor soul crashes into my reREC and wants to know a wee bit of what's been going on, at one point or another).
* A special 'thank you' * to:
1. Robo_J for Beat 1111-- there is something extraordinarily kick-ass about being able to dance to music that is so deliciously sinuous & demanding of my senses, and it was especially welcomed on that day. *happy sigh*
2. pamagotchi, for graciously inviting us to make a wish-- & creating a poignant video that (for me, at least) clearly says that in the end, happiness for ourselves & our best beloved is a high priority. ♥
3. mcwally, who inadvertently introduced me to borek with a comment & a photo :)

sorry i suck at making titles??
I got kinda bored today, so I had a go with Ableton Live, and this was the result! I've never really composed anything before, so it's not much, but hopefully someone will like it :)
Needs: more guitar; howling feedback; drums; percussion; more vocals; maybe brass; maybe strings; anything that makes noise.

This has chords I invented but on guitar they can all be played with two fingers. In chordbook.com they are Asus2/E, A add 11, D maj 9, Asus2/E, Em, Asus2/E. The middle 8 is A 6 add 13, F#m7 (add D#), Asus2/E, then Em, Asus2/E again. I recorded it to a 70 bpm bossa nova beat. The point of all that is I think it would be really cool if somebody added to it.

so i was playing around with saintmaker's amazing photo & somehow a scary red wolflike demon with a conveniently wide open mouth emerged subtley from the background... surely a sign from the photoshop gods that i'd gotten a chance to redeem myself for that last LRRH REmix i did. hope this serves as an interesting poster for our little red collab! <3
I LOVE what's already been done with the Dusty Dance tiny story, but I thought I'd still share my take on it :)
EDIT: if this gets used for anything, i just realized that i forgot to mute one of the clips so there's a little bit of background noise for a few seconds (that's what you get for trying to edit video with a baby in your lap!)
