These are the RECords that touched me most this past month...
-V
Water floats around my head
Water floats around my head
Clouds move in and hide the sun
I close my eyes and take a breath
A lark is singing overhead
You say "Yes, we're sinking now,
But can you hear that wondrous sound?"
Ooh
We're sinking now
We're sinking down
We're sinking now
We're sinking down
I close my eyes for one last breath
A lark is singing overhead
You say "Yes, we're sinking now,
But can you hear that wondrous sound?"

a little boat made of music notes floated across the sea. and at the bow i can see it now a love to dance with me. |

ı ADDED A LİTTLE FLUTE TO YOUR BEAUTİFUL PİECE AS A BUTTERFLY WOULD HOVER İN THE LİTE..TJ
i
am uncomfortable
with the way you say my name
cause i
do not belong to you
though you call me something strange
i
can't seem to stay awake
and i don't know what that means
for i
am an astronaut
i have nothing under me
you
are really starting to
climb inside my head
we
are like a negative
hung to dry above my bed
keep
me on this canyon floor
i don't want to venture out
your name
it sounds so strange to me
it's an unfamiliar sound

This morning, near my fireplace, I found a hat and scarf in a puddle of water I think my snowman committed suicide.... |

Saw this little bit by JGrimm, and I just thought of this piece.
The little story reminds me of something hopeful and happy being melted away, broken down. So I had some bright colors fading away, streaming away to the bottom, and the colors at the bottom are a little duller and everything.
Yup, there ya go.
I loved reneg88's new piece of music for a short film..this just came out of nowhere..

PS: Happy Thanksgiving! <3

My deepest thanks to sabine, ThadicalRadical and melis for their help and guidance in rewriting this story. I am working on a second part, which I hope to have up by the weekend. :) ... |

Movie and musac.
Here is something a bit different from what I usually upload on HR. This track was co-produced, mixed, and mastered by the good friend Jean-Gabrielle Hajjar http://soundcloud.com/thesilex/ - check out his work.
So this is a song that's meant for waking up somewhere new. I wrote it as if I was waking up in a dreamy subway station where not everything is as it should be. In trying to figure out where I am, I end up on a train that appears to be broken down, and suddenly it takes off and throws me into the seat, everything in the windows is illuminated and other worldly

Me and my headphones and only one song playing.
It's called "the sinking ghost" by Johnny Clyde
This is what I saw, when I closed my eyes.
In my mind it was also moving.
The ghost was still but the world around him was sharp,
moving and full of cold wind.
But it wasn't depressing, it was irritating.
That is why it is out of balance.
It should be a little bit irritating and if it's not,
then I didn't deliver.
At least from my perspective.
What do you see?
Uhmm, OK. I apologize profusely if I'm doing the equivalent of smashing the stuffing out of people's toes, but if I waited around to post something "professional and perfect," or even "decent amateur effort," I'd be dead. This has all sorts of errors & mis-steps, as I was pretty exhausted after 5 hours of trying to figure things out but... well, here it is.
Consider my video-type efforts to be a series of bumbly "thank you's" for making beautiful things that, in turn, make amazing things happen inside of my head. I wish I could show you how it really is...
Inspired in a literal flash by JohnnyClyde's "the sinking ghost" song, the incredible footage from TaraMarie, the bafflingly wondrous short by Sherbethead, and the last bit of SarahMacLeod's "freight train." Additional stuff came later. I love this place. ♥

Matt's video is fantastic - I just thought the ambience would be made more (semi-ethereal?) by adding Wirrow's song.
All of the great footage being uploaded for OWS has really got me inspired, and tonight after singing through some music for another project, I sat down at my computer and recorded this impromptu performance of one my favorite songs.
This Little Light of Mine is a public domain song, often considered a children's spiritual. What I love about it is how the simple lyrics (and I only used one set, the most famous, here) can be interpreted in a great many ways. For me, the song is about making your voice heard and your presence felt, and for that reason it's the song I think of whenever I see groups of people protesting.

I LOVE what's already been done with the Dusty Dance tiny story, but I thought I'd still share my take on it :)
EDIT: if this gets used for anything, i just realized that i forgot to mute one of the clips so there's a little bit of background noise for a few seconds (that's what you get for trying to edit video with a baby in your lap!)

the doctor called it cardiac dementia 'cause your love for me is in absentia |

so i was playing around with saintmaker's amazing photo & somehow a scary red wolflike demon with a conveniently wide open mouth emerged subtley from the background... surely a sign from the photoshop gods that i'd gotten a chance to redeem myself for that last LRRH REmix i did. hope this serves as an interesting poster for our little red collab! <3
A day like 11.11.11 seems like a good day to release this film about repetition based on Wirrow's Tiny Story 'Proposition'. <3
Spent my day off making a tiny stop-motion animation for the "Wicked Witch" Tiny Story. Phew. Hope y'all enjoy!

Hello again, everybody. It's been a long, long time. Hope you are all very well.
I found my mind wandering toward Stitchtown recently, and felt it would be fun to actually contribute something. I've only ever added the initial sketch, and nothing beyond that. However I've had some thoughts on the old place.
I should preface the follwing few documents with the confession: I am, sadly, in no way up to date on the Stitchtown canon. Sorry. If any of the following conflicts with it, then by all means ignore it.
The main thing I had been thinking about was not Stitchtown per se, but the world it exists in, and the rules of that world. I'll expand on that in a mo, but in the meantime, here's some Stitchers hunting clouds in the dawnlight.
