Here are all the pictures I have completed so far for Metaphorest's Marvellous Marv poem.
"Marvellous Marv/ Was a veteran vet/ Who could hypnotize hippos/ And petrified pets"
"From the teeniest toad
To the mightiest mammal"
Calmed camel yet to come.
For Metaphorest's Marvellous Marv story.
Appeased ape yet to come.
"He could appease an ape/ Or calm a cross camel"
wow. i just noticed that the camel is mutated. I drew two noses and forgot to erase one. :-P
"He loved to budge budgies/ From cages to trees"
New freedom can be scary.
I had never heard a parakeet called a budgie before so I learned something new. I realize his plumage is not the most accurate.
"Yes, he could fix foxes, And mend owwy owls"
"He gave badges to badgers/ For being so brave"
Someone with better pattern-making skills could clean up his coloring to get rid of that pin-striping!
"He gave.../ ...ribbons to robins/ He’d managed to save"
An extra picture that doesn't particularly attach to any part of the poem
"Til one addled adder/ Appeared at Marv’s door/ And hissed that his head/ Was all spinny and sore"
Admittedly I was lazy and did not color this in true adder fashion so it needs a version 2.
Now properly colored like a proper adder.
"But as soon as he handled/ The sneaky snake’s head/ It poised and it poisoned/ And Marv was left dead"
"The point of this poem/ (If you haven’t yet guessed)/ Is that sometimes in life/ To be cautious is best"
My one minor edit suggestion included
"See there’s no shame in fear/ Of a genuine threat/ If only he’d known it/ Poor Marvin the Vet"
I thought about adding a pith helmet but the sketch was finished before a pith helmet appeared on his noggin. I do have a larger scaled version, should anyone actually want it.
Yes, he could.../ Prevent sickly chickens/ From feeling so foul
