Hours in photoshop: Would rather not know Number of espressos: Approaching triple digits Dress sense while drawing: Hipster scrooge      It's pretty regular in the comics (and film) industry to start with a script and work towards a visual realisation of that script. However, sometimes it's interesting to work backwards. I was wondering what it would be like to start with the image and work toward the story.     With that in mind, I drew this, leaving the story pretty open. It's be awesome if any of the more writerly of hitrecord would be interested in penning a (pretty short) science fiction story to go along with this illustration. If not, as always, do whatever you please with it. Enjoy! SnickerSnack 

I added this to the Amoeba poster collaboration because initially it had a good response. 

It seems to capture the essence of looking forward to looking back at our past accomplishments. 

I tried to add the information Joe wanted but I am not saavy enough this morning.  Perhaps someone might work from this original record and create the knock out poster Joe is hoping for????

I fell in love with the empty glasses shot by tudo47 and I had a concept but my photoshop skills were lacking!!  Sooooo.... my husband hardwired helped me out!

It was July 2010 and strangely enough I was home sick with a sinus infection and i stumbled upon this site. I too watched the video and I thought I recognized this guy JGL and thought this was pretty cool. I had started taking pictures with my little camera and these pictures were being well received by friends and family so what the hell, here was an anonymous community and it looked quite friendly so I jumped in. I put in The waterfall at shadbolt centre and the sunny sunflower and within seconds there were hits and then someone, sorry I cant remember who said nice picture. What was this a positive statement about a silly picture that I had uploaded 5 or 10 minutes ago and i was hooked, this is my drug now and I am pleased to be hooked. Are we recording??? Matthew
