So here are my nominations for the HitRECord Awards 2011.  This was really tough since there are so many great records and so many lovely RECorders.  

Favorite HitRECorder: Bloemday - One of the nicest RECorders out there.  This place certainly wouldn't be the same without Bloemday and her wonderful, beautiful remixes. : )

Favorite Video: I think this is a tie... between SFBakstad's amazing timelapses and Matt Conley's various videos for the tiny stories, fake histories, and all sorts of other things.  

Favorite Collaboration: Tiny Stories - Ever since Wirrow started the first collab this has probably been one of my favorite things on the site.  It's just fun and there are so many things you can do with the tiny stories (text, illustrations, video, etc). There's all kinds of ways for everyone to get involved.

Favorite Music: I couldn't just pick one song, so I'm going with all of Metaphorest' music.  Such a lovely voice!

Favorite VO: Lost Objects [vocks] by DayGlo - I think it's common knowledge that DayGlo has one of the best voices ever.  His reading of Metaphorest's poem is just wonderful.

Favorite Text: Blbest - instead of one piece of text, I thought I would nominate all of Blbest's text records.  He's got a lot of funny tiny storiesa and some lovely poetry.

Favorite Remix: i wish i might by Niki - Niki always makes really great remixes.  

Favorite Event or Holiday: RE: Halloween - Probably my favorite holiday.  It was fun to see all of the Halloween related records and to see all the footage from the Halloween show in nyc.

Favorite Image: A tie for this categorey as well.  This one goes to Cacheth for her awesome illustrations and Saintmaker for his wonderful photography.
