Textures, backgrounds, odds&ends, things that can be used for remixes since there's a lot still floating around the site that haven't been added to Joe's texture collab, so I decided to gather them up.
Also, if you are looking for more remixable things, check out Gwen's "hitRECord Library": http://hitrecord.org/records/123804
I have a list of a ton of records I'm going to add in here and then probably try to organize them. So this may take me a while. : )
When I was a child my father would lock me in a dark room with no lights, while yelling at me out side of the room if I did something wrong. Since than darkness and nights became my nightmares.
I would ask my sister if she could come with me to the bathroom at ngiht,
I would stay away from rooms with no lights,
and when it is time to sleep i always spent hours to calm myself down so i can fall asleep.
Until a few days ago I walked by a tree, and it reminded me how much i loved the darkness.
I've almost forgot how the nights use to be my friend, and the darkness was the place where i find peace and inspiration.
When it's dark, the smallest amount of light explodes my imagination.
The light splits into rays of colors and explodes in to a rainbow fire work,
sparkling dust float and drop, burns everything into orange light.
Smoke and the fire faries rise.
When i wake up from my imagination, I remembered my love to the darkness and light.
I shell never fear the black nights again.
(excuse my grammar, this is not my first language :P)
Has there ever been a time in your life when everyone sees you as alive as fire that illuminates forth but you actually feel quite the opposite? As if it's a secret that you feel cold and numb so you put on a front. I think of that when looking at this remix.
Nicole.c.Silver's original btw. Fire is always entrancing, great shot :)
