I don't know that I'll have time to actually edit anything for this, but I thought I'd help by curating some REsources I think may be helpful for the new video. This album is a work in progress, and I'm sure I'll think of other things to add to it!:)
Adding this as a REsult to Cam's video in case he's looking for additional REsources
Thanks so much for featuring this! I stumbled upon reneg88's page one night and loved all his songs, which are titled "Music for Short Film", and wanted to use one to make a simple and sweet piece. So I pulled my husband into the bedroom when he got home from work that night, and wound up with this.
It is amazing to see all the great results of this clip! If anyone wants any clips in the orginal color format to use in a remix let me know and I can upload them.
A day like 11.11.11 seems like a good day to release this film about repetition based on Wirrow's Tiny Story 'Proposition'. <3
I LOVE what's already been done with the Dusty Dance tiny story, but I thought I'd still share my take on it :)
EDIT: if this gets used for anything, i just realized that i forgot to mute one of the clips so there's a little bit of background noise for a few seconds (that's what you get for trying to edit video with a baby in your lap!)
This is an animation made from one of SFBakstad's timelapsed lily videos. Each frame was modified by a variety of hitRECorders & then mixed back into the sequence.
The video shows 4 different versions: full speed, slower, less than half speed (so you can see the individual frames more clearly) & then the full speed again for comparison.
The frames were modified by: rejjie, jelly bean, adhgraphicdesign, brookeduckart, moonbug & Duddelmaus! Thank you all for your contributions! :)
Now... where do we take this next?
A remix of PonderGoblin's 'CosmicSnow Trapeze' and inspired by Tori's remix. <3
Raw footage of some snow that I thought may be a good REsource for someone. I was at the Bears/Patriots game today with my husband and it was very cold and snowy the whole time. But the snow was actually beautiful so I had to get some footage of it. I was going to leave it with raw sound, but I thought PASIV's soundtrack was better than "Last call! Beer!"
Thought perhaps it could be used to add animation to for the creation myth?
Raw footage that I RECorded on the early morning of November 15th, 2011, when the NYPD broke up Occupy Wall Street protests in NYC.

the garden song is coming along so beautifully i thought we need to start on a video. so anatole and i went out into the wild and shot some gardeny footage. we shot in 3 locations but the scenes are all jumbled up. there is neither head nor tail necessary anyways. so you fantastic editors out there work your magic and make the best gardener song video ever!
part 2!!!!!!!
"Hit RECord On Halloween" 2011. Le Poisson Rouge, NYC
I started this TL on Friday, 1/21/11 in hopes of capturing a full moon for my 200th record. Coincidently, it was also my 1 year Anniversary at HitRECord. I was happy with what I got and decided to leave my camera in place to see if I could get the sunrise in the same frame. This is what I got. Hope you likey!
A "love letter" to public transportation in cities:) I am constantly enthralled by traveling on public transportation (even though I've been doing it for years). I love watching the people and feeing connected. I especially love doing it in cities I'm visiting. This is my first attempt at filming/editing, and also mixing song and speech. This is a skill I would love to get better at, so any feedback/advice from you amazing editors out there would be much appreciated. I had a ton of fun doing this:) Fun fact!: In the shot that goes with "The Circle Line is the best" when the train is going over the river, there is a really bright light on the bridge that I was so happy about because it synced up with Tom's line about the city being a sun. That light was because Transfomers 3 was filming and evidently needed an extremely bright shot. So thanks Transformers!:) ** I'm resourcing the latest Regularity on here because of Joe's comment about making a vid for the Cities collab. Although this isn't a documentary like he was talking about, it does incorporate several of the RECords in the Cities collab.
To anyone who has ever felt this way, I'm sorry.
To anyone who hasn't, I hope you never do.

When I was visiting the cemetery in New Orleans, I thought it may be useful to have some moving stock footage instead of just photos. For your REmixing pleasure...
