1). SFBakstad has great time lapse footage
2). Cameron Smith uses quite a lot of shots of stoic faces in his video and I think Liz Smalls and ppresescott's videos would also be good for that.
3).cmartinb's video from hitRECord at Halloween has intersting footage of both audience watching and RECording the show. I especially like the footage from 3:15 to about 4:05. I think this could be useful for lines such as:
"the unchallenging brainless autotuned overprocessed media that fills your screens and airwaves"
"and if anything cannot be rationally explained then our machines will not compute you are being watched, my friends you are taxed livestock
you are numbers on our screens, and you are seeking little other than the peaceful parade of pictures on screens"
4). For footage of fire:
- Remember, he will burn on by Jennifer (0:20 to 1:25)
- bonfire sparks by elieyah
5).Dusty Dance (Tiny Tune & Film) by eaneikciv [0:14 till end] could be used for:
"there are extraordinary things in your everyday lives
there are hidden treasures in familiar shadows
"a world that shifts its shape with every passing daydream that intervenes your daily routines, and the narcotic moments of creative bliss"
Uploading old old footage from the Thanksgiving Chapel in Dallas. I liked the kaleidoscope effect.. the original footage is at the end of the clip in case it may be useful too.
Sorry it's short/shaky, hoping to go again & film better.
Don't know if this is useful, but Cameron wanted some more stoic-like faces and stuff for the remix. Or maybe this can be used for something else.
The hi-res version of this had an error D:
I am working on some city/signs footage also. Should be up in a few days.
I've been playing around with the idea of shooting more video and I was experimenting with a lens. I just thought that this might be useful for someone.
From hitREcord on Halloween, New York City.
I LOVE what's already been done with the Dusty Dance tiny story, but I thought I'd still share my take on it :)
EDIT: if this gets used for anything, i just realized that i forgot to mute one of the clips so there's a little bit of background noise for a few seconds (that's what you get for trying to edit video with a baby in your lap!)
(I added this to the Summer Collection collab because I know we have sold posters in the past and thought that this could possibly be produced as a poster print.)
Since the end of the show, I've been trying to figure out the best way to express all of my jumbled thoughts and feelings about it. Watching the livestream, I felt moments of excitement and indescribable pride. SO many times, I smiled and laughed, marveling at all that we have accomplished - a few times, I winced and bit my knuckles in uncertainty.
When I woke up this morning, I wasn't sure what I wanted to say. And so, I started cutting up some paper. And soon I realized, as the pieces came together, we have SO much to celebrate. Some things last night were PERFECT, and others were rough and a little awkward - but that's the great thing about hitRECord. We try new things, we take chances, and we move forward in brand new ways. I love what we've accomplished so far, and I can't wait to see what comes next!
