I'm so enjoying doing paper cuts! 

This time I used thefuture's illustration :)

My first ever paper cut !

This is a clearer image than the one ilovepopcorn very graciously uploaded for me :)

Since I have to sit at the airport for the next 6 hours ( hoping not to get pulled out for a flight) I decided to spend the time doing some paper cuts :)

Sadly the scanner at my office is not that good..

This is actually what I envisioned when I read the script. At some stage I will put it on a black background.

P.S. I'm taking a small break from hitRECord as I will not have any internet access for a few days  :(

I'm still taking bits of paper out of my hair ;)

I had started this a while ago, but wasn't too happy with the original font. So I replaced the lettering.

I wanted to add 'By Metaphorest' but I ran out of place ;)

My niece made the envelope :) But we couldn't find the correct shade of blue...

I really liked  the icons on magdel_smith's version.. 

For some reason it wasn't showing up on a white background, so I had to use beige.

Hopefully if anyone finds this useful, they will be able to change the background colour :)

Maybe this is what it looks like before it is cut into strips ;D

Sponge cake, strawberry custard, whipped cream and two layers of jelly babies! Yummy!!

My niece loves SmudgeofPaint's shadow doodle and wouldn't give me any peace till I did this. (She's learning ballet!)

Sometimes the Tenebrae succeeds in capturing a shadow. He keeps them in a crude cage till he decides what to do with them. No one knows the location of the Tenebrae's lair and the captive shadows pray someone will come to rescue them...

Flockofwords describes a sixth caste of shadow beings, "The Fireflights", shadows cast by fire.

They are the most ancient of the shadows born when prehistoric man invented fire.

They are the guardians of the history of the shadows and the keepers of their secrets. The Fireflights were the original inhabitants of Umbra but were exiled by the Longrays

Maybe the Fireflights will team up with the cunning Tenebrae and terrorize the other shadow beings?

After reading Flockofwords' Shadowplay, this is how I envisioned the Fireflights. I gave them a flame-like appearance ;D

I had done a paper cut version before I saw eaneikciv's illustration. I substituted her little girl drawing, because I preferred it to mine.

My sneezing cloud is very well mannered. He has a cold and uses a handkerchief :)

So this is Chestnut after taking a big bite out of the moon  ;)

I know Chestnut is supposed to be a big, fat dog. Unfortunately the only dog I had access to was my neighbour's puppy and getting him to sit quietly was a real task!

Yesterday, birdcage printed out I Am 1954's image and asked me to do it in paper. :D

Of late I have found my enthusiasm and interest in hitRECord decreasing by the day. So I think it's time for me to limit my time on HR. 

I'm very grateful to be able to call so many of you my friends and will keep in touch with you via Facebook and Twitter.
