Here's the other 1/2 of the small chunk I was playing with for "and a new earth (reprise)" I am going to upload the combined duo shortly, but thought I'd add this as a part for resource ease.
a sort of stream of consciousness-y thing ive been writing lately. i saw this timelapse vid today by bluebudgie and was really inspired to experiment with it. i understand how this might be seen as political or preachy or offensive.. but i honestly dont mean to be any of those things. it is directed at me more than anyone else. there's a lot of literary reference nod's in the text.
sub-point: the track is an instrumental version of everything is on fire
Here is a visual foundation sketch for us to lay the typography over for 'and a new earth REPRISE'. It's really important to note that the typography is what is going to be featured in this piece. Meaning that the first or second time a viewer will watch the final version, they won't really be paying attention to these visuals. With that said, I have tried damn hard to use visuals that not only support the typography but also make sense in case anyone ever does pay attention to what's behind.
It needs a lot more work and I am not totally convinced that the video clips here are close to final, it probably will change with what works best for the type.
But I am very curious to get feedback from y'all. So, what do you think?
oh - I ran some tests to make sure that the typography still pops in all the madness, and with a little tweaking, it does :)

I wanted to do something for the Inception collab using photography, so I decided to mix loads of random pics with horrorshock's awesome animation (Little Red Balloon). It's like those crazy dreams full of disconnected images. It may not be suitable to the documentary but I really wanted to give it a try.
When i first heard amferraro’s garden, i was watching this, and i thought this kind of stopmotion was perfectly matching with the rythm of that song, and with the story we could imagine to go with. So i really wanted to make one and picked up in my more or less old pictures, trying to create my own travel, and recreate movements with pictures that were never meant to be used for this kind of thing (except a very few ones). That explains the square format which is not a choice, but a compromise, so that i could use landscapes and portraits. This said, this is my very first time doing this, and if it wasn’t for hitrecord, i would never have done this kind of stuff.
Thanks for watching !

My (ACTUAL) Contribution for City Autopsy.
I guess it's my homage to Ira Glass & This American Life. I tried to give an honest portrayl of my neighborhood.
I'm not sure how I feel about this cut yet. Maybe I'll go back to it and change some words or cut it in half, timewise... i guess i'll wait to see how this collaboration evolves.
PS. what a day of trying to get this uploaded. I feel like it took longer to get the right version on the internet than it did to edit and shoot the thing... pffffffff im spent.
