this took nearly a full year after the original bass line & 'Ravens' RECords were released for me to 'crack' the idea for an arrangement that worked.
back in April 2011, i downloaded the audio stems that Albert, Sarah, and Matt uploaded to the site, and after trying some ideas that ended up not going aywhere, decided to put this REmix on hold until I could think of something suitable. Sometimes the best ideas come much later. Sometimes, it's better to put your impulses aside and allow time to pass...
in January 2012, I came up with the idea of looping Matt & Sarah's ending vocal lines which created the proper foundation, along with Albert's bass, for the song to move in a cohesive, structured direction. Everything else, the drums, guitar solo, format, followed suit.
And there you have it.

Feather drawing

Albert was looking for vocals for some of his tracks with lyrics on the theme of depression. So here's what I've come up with using his excellent track '23-bass riff'. I looped it, added a vocal line or two and some weird ambienty sounds. Hope ya like it Albert!

Oh and my headphones are busted so sorry if the mix sucks - I can upload stems if you like it!

So using some feedback I got from Raven's Head from a few Hitrecorders, I reshot some footage. I also took into account rawmotions raven's perch, and tried to do my hair like he did the badass raven animation, in case he wanted. 

Thought it would be cool to have a character slowly changing into a Raven.

This upload Is just to show what the zip files are and is an .mp4 MQ. I will be doing my own cut in the same respect as Raven's Head, but maybe a few tweeks. Key Framing is a bitch, and it might take me a few days, but I wanted this up as a resource for the Hitrecorders that expressed interest in remixing and to encourage others to remix and also maybe others can shoot their own footage....

I'm labeling these clips A B C D E going from left to right. Uploading the Zipped raw files shortly after this.

on E, i just drew on myself. I was just having fun. I don't know what it could be used for??? I don't think I'm using it in my cut... maybe just for a few seconds.

Ok, do with this what you will. And May I suggest to go through Robo_J's resources to Ravens  and see the evolution of this song by Metaphorest if you haven't already. Super powerful and really shows how Hitrecord works.

 I welcome any futher critiques and suggestions. skin like teflon, throw it down!

I love andrewhip's poems, and since WILL YOU READ TO ME is one of my favorites, I wanted to turn it into a song... I hope you like it! You can find the poem in the resources, I remixed it a bit.

I also looove "monsters, mermaids, castles and kings" by sojushots, so I used it as custom icon!

Hello. I'm very new to HITrecord. Joined around 10 minutes ago; new. What I'm currently uploading: My eyes. Along with two ambient songs I composed in the media. My tears as well. I'm not really sure what I'm doing with it, or what will be done. At the moment I know HITrecord is an amazing thing. And I want to be more familiar with it. IDEAS: I've always wanted to see a series of eyes expressing different things. Romantic. No? But not a fast series, a slow series. A series I get to see. I get to observe. Staring someone in the eyes can be very intimate. I wonder if filmed, they could ever give off that intimacy. With the right music? The right voice over? The right audience?
