Just a few this week:
Fall Formal Finale bu Ryan Patrick: Ryan's edit of this is great. I hope we see more vids like this now that the FF Audio Board sound has been released. I had forgotten how much I LOVEDDDDD this song.
Tea Party Too (Tiny Film) by eaneikciv: Oh my god, I LOVE this piece. It's adorable, but also works so well for the tiny story. Perfection:)
Pile of Glitter by doverpeak: Textures like this are so useful for REmixing.
I am (re-imagined) by missamerica: A really lovely and well-done video by missamerica (and a beautiful written piece)
RE: Resident Curators by RegularJOE: This is probably one of the best moves that's been done by hitRECord. It's an elegant solution to several issues for the company - it delegates some of the work, it brings diversity to the admin team, it gives the community a way to highlight opinions other than those of three (similar) people, and it makes the "featured records" come from more of the community than only the three (similar:) people in charge. AND on top of that, having every Featured RECord have a comment by the Featurer that follows a specific format is perfect. No more "why was that featured? Are they saying it's an example we should follow? Something we should work with further? And if so, how should we take it further? Or is it just something cool they liked?"
wirrow fing by wirrow: I don't know if this actually could be cuter or make me laugh harder. I mean THE THUMB HAS NOTES :D
tori's resident curator introduction : tori is so cool:) Even for this simple little introduction, she took it to the next level.
I did a new and way better edit of this. check it out here.

I've been wanting to edit this performance together since I first saw it but I was holding off until the audio was uploaded. Well it's here now so check out my first edit. I only used four different cameras because I thought it would be cool if some other editors came in and added a bunch of more shots to this. I know there's tons of other great video of this performance so start digging it up and have at it.
Also, Joe could you upload the lyrics to this? I'd love to read them. There's so many great lines in this song.
Also what is this song called?
I was filming the kids playing outside today for our family video memory scrapbook thingy, & Millie wanted to have a tea party by her new flower garden, so I figured I might as well use some of the footage here too! And I just couldn't resist putting a cheesy iMovie video effect on it, sorry :)
i love everything mirtle draws, but "tea party" has always been one of my favorites. so much that i had to go and sew a pennant banner to hang in my daughter's room last year! we relocated it for today's tea party :)
Raw footage coming soon for anyone to play around with that actually knows what they're doing when it comes to editing!
Ever since I released it back in August, 'I Am' has always been one of my favourite RECords. But I've been thinking for a while about remixing it; incorporating more voices, using different footage...
Special thanks to Stevie, who recorded not only a voice over for this, but also signed it in ASL;
And of course, my un-ending thanks to themetafictionist and pamagotchi for recording their voice overs back in August.
Extra extra special thanks to Malicore, who knows more than me about 'gains' and other technical sound-related things, who 'touched up' the voice overs for me ^_^

For some time now there has only been a few of us featuring RECords on our homepage. We have now assembled a team of 8 Resident Curators from the community to assist in featuring records. This will be an evolving list and will change over time and I'm really excited to see what these artists find and feature, as well as how the community remixes their featured records.
Each of the Resident Curators is not only a great artist in their own right but their recommendations have helped draw all of us toward records that the production company can use. They understand the direction of the company and have played an integral part in its growth.
So, without further ado, I introduce to you hitRECord's very first Resident Curators:
tori (Video & Text)
Day Glo (Text)
Irma Vep (Image)
MarieIV (Image)
KamPAIGN (Audio)
Krrr (Audio)
thesherbethead (Video & Text)
wirrow (Global Curator)
Thanks again,
