Hey HITRECORD! Here is version 1 of the collage song that I made with all of your great audio tracks.  It's pretty atmospheric with plenty of room for vocals - so VOCALISTS, RAPPERS, SPOKEN WORD ARTISTS, please add your creative skills!

I wrote this song about some Seattle's sordid history, the Underground. Quick recap: In the late 1800s, there was a fire in downtown, and it burned up a lot of the old buildings. For logistical purposes, they raised the street level during the repairs, so portions of Seattle became underground, and those portions, which you can still tour, were prime retail territory. They were also dangerous places, and full of prostitutes, referred to as "seamstresses." Fun fact: The people who funded most of the rebuilding process? The aforementioned prostitutes. In a town full of miners, sailors and lumberjacks, who's gonna have the most money?

The more you look the more you realize this is an extraordinary place. As you find the opening of the tent made out of bits of the sky, you find a carousel made of celestial lights...

A short dance track I put together using some piano, bass and drums. Kind of how I imagine Daft Punk would sound if the power went out. It could use some vocals, or maybe some other instrumentation. I made this tune with a western twist!

Remixed with a little Mellotron action to add some more tension and give it that epic Western flare.

listened to lizzienrose's record and could not get it out of my head. picked up a few instruments (viola, drums, glockenspiel, etc) and had a little fun.

Thanks for checking out my record. It's a solo piano score with a contemplative or reflective quality to it, hope it helps to inspire someone else's work or perhaps it can be useful for someone already working on a collaboration. Cheers!

This was a great challenge, and my most recent challenge (sorry guys for not sticking to the order).

Another color-song-thing. I thought about running, and running in the night, and while playing this, I started thinking about water and then I saw dark navy blue in my head. I don't really know what to do with this, it's just a beginning of an idea, a rough draft, so I'd love to hear if anyone comes up with any ideas for it, lyrics, melodies, more instruments, anything! :)

I guess we all sometimes wish we could loop some parts of our lives and never let them end. But if you stay in a loop for too long, things start to slowly loose their edges, until everything is a big blurr and you're not sure anymore if you're at the beginning or the end, and before you know it, you're lost in the loop...

However, the not-so-deep musical part of my brains loves loops! :) and everything you hear on this track can be looped! you can find thse stems in the results, so if you feel like remixing, you can make your own loop remix of this song. And as always, it would be awesome to hear other people sining or playing along!

a rough first mix to show another possible direction for Krrr's 808 beat. I actually used joellen's splendid blend with Justin Marshall Elias' ambient synths as the basis. Being a bassist, bass was the first thing I added. Guitars, beats and glockenspiel followed. It somehow became something resembling early Sigur Ros. Probably not a bad thing. As I say, the mix isn't final, but gives ad idea.

If anyone fancies adding some vocals in Icelandic / Made Up Language (or even English) be my guest.
