Hi there,

This is Will C. Here's a rough mix of a verse, hook, and cuts I added to the Automator track.

I added some intro vocals, a verse between 0:22 and 1:07, a hook between 1:07 and 1:31, and cuts layered on top of Automator's cuts at 1:53-2:10. I put some fun hard panning on the scratches that hopefully sound good on headphones / monitors. Hopefully they don't detract from Automator's cuts there. I think they compliment each other, but I can scrap them if need be.

I had a good time hopping on it, and I hope it's up yours & HitRECord's alley as a whole. I tried to keep it interesting... all sorts of live echo manipulation at places on my vocals, as well as some reverse reverb here and there, all that good stuff. The cuts I added were actually derived from this track on HitRECord, run through some FX on my end in Pro Tools -

I'm about to upload the cuts and vox as their own separate stems. I'll include the lyrics in the vox stem upload info!

Probably not important at this stage, but just so I keep the communication thorough... when adding my vocals, things started to clip in pro tools, so I had to bring the master fader down a bit to prevent peaking. The A Capella and Cuts track were bounced at -2 decibels from the original mix. In other words, if you were to drop them in a session with the Automator WAV, the vox and cuts would play 2 db quieter than how I had them mixed with the beat.

When it came to bouncing the rough mix, the master fader had to be dropped to -5.5 db, which will explain why it sounds like it plays a little quieter than the version on HitRECord's site for the time being.

Thank you and take care! And please feel free to check out the site! - http://willcmusic.com/

To follow up on the rough mix I just posted, here's the vocal stem!

Note: Probably not important at this stage, but just so I keep the communication thorough... when adding my vocals, things started to clip in pro tools, so I had to bring the master fader down a bit to prevent peaking. The A Capella and Cuts track were bounced at -2 decibels from the original mix. In other words, if you were to drop them in a session with the Automator WAV, the vox and cuts would play 2 db quieter than how I had them mixed with the beat.

Here's the lyrics!

hey
i used to dream about unlimited fame
and of a simpler time, flying, my physical frame
spry with minimal pain, sky's the limit and lime-tinted
until I met ya then I sensed the seismic shifting
my sighs were bigger while my eyes were rapid moving
dreams were bitter in disguise and half as soothing
cease the grinning or your lies, I'm active dueling
I'd seize the quiver Cupid hides, my passion's ruined
in pitch black I'm bound to tap into
a part of my brain where strange paths'll ensue
and the dawn of the shame will play back to tense you
so the ominous pain will stay active, hence you
wake up feeling your laid up cuffed to ceiling fans
stuck to wheels of trucks rushed and peelin' out
off to races, right cross to faces
kibosh the rest, my eyes start to cave in

sleep gets harder, the older you get you gotta
decode and dissect your problem in dark until dawn'll claw ya
mock ya with alarm sounds ringing
but now we got those jingles on the cell phones singing
so wake up to what you like, it don't make life better
it makes that song less cooler, forever
I'll forget her, I'll curse her mother
but for better or worse i love her

I added some vocals in a couple areas and some pads under them.

1:05 - Hard to forget; don't lead me down that road again

3:10 - All my love is pushing you away (thinking about changing the words but keeping the melody)

Hey, I took some liberties by rearranging a bit and making sort of a more traditional format. Hope that's ok. Never done this before, so, I just got creative with it. Psyched to see what y'all do! Admittedly, not the most tech savvy. So, if anybody needs elements or has any issues with the track. Feel free to reach out. This was super fun. Thanks for the opportunity! - Bohème (emailboheme@gmail.com)

Heres my work for the Collage Song! Hope you guys like it *sry* It´s my first voice record and I really tried my best!

At first I thought of an Hip Hop Verse but then I got this idea, that i recorded, the text is:

Floating shadows on the wall,

it´s a reflection from the unforgiven,

bad habitations ovverweight,

try to forgive but there is no chance.

I really really hope you like it!!!

Has an ethnic sound to it, pretty impressive. Not saying that for glory or fame, but because I really impressed myself on this one.

By all means, judge for yourself!
