My attempt to illustrate Metaphorest's tiny story "Sam the Homeless Snail". For some strange reason, when I first read the story, the first thing that came to my mind was the music "Meditation de Thais", which I imagined Sam would be playing... :S

To celebrate my wee snail pipe appearing on the RECollection cover i thought i'd draw him a few wee friends c: aren't they dapper?

Here's a snail I drew a while ago. :p I've gone back to class now so HR kinda has to go on the back burner until I can work it back into my schedule. I'll be back though! Sooo no worries. I might turn my assignments into posts for here but we'll see. xD

I nearly stepped on this little guy leaving class last night at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley, CA. S/he seems to be hauling a backpack full of books—probably St. Thomas' Summa Theologica, coming from the Dominican school—and heading on home.

Another view of the snail. Isn't it cute? Sadly, the photo I tried to take of it from the front didn't focus and my classmate who had generously offered me a ride (since it was raining) was waiting for me...
