I just drew this guy, but I can't think of a story for him. You all are much more creative than I am, so maybe you can get the job done? :)

another quick sketch I did while bored.

this is what happened while I listened to Ppeppina's beautiful song "Cappuccino Machine"

I was once told by my grandmother that a few days after someone's death, it's no surprise to see a huge butterfly/moth lingering around the house for it is the spirit of the dead paying his/her last visit before parting to the other realm. 

And since seeing TheSerpentTheCharmer's Record http://www.hitrecord.org/records/1148344, I immediately had a concept that clicked with this belief that I wanted to share.

In any case, if you have a tiny story, go for it.

wirrow, our Global Curator, has just started a collaboration entitled "Monsters VS. KIds" which combines the Monster City Collaboration with the Character Collab. The premise involves a group of Monsters who invade a city and a team of Characters (preferably kids) who band together - zombie movie style - and face the Monsters. 

The story is to be told through illustrative journal entries, so both sides of the story will be told through this concept.

Here's how you can contribute to the "Kids VS. Monsters" collaboration:

ILLUSTRATORS: This story will be told through illustrations, so please create new characters for both sides of the story (Monsters & Kids.)

IMAGE CURATORS: Search through both the Monster City Collaboration & Character Collab and curate albums of your favorite character contributions (preferably kids.) This curation will be key to helping Writers come up with the stories.

I released this before as "do we sleep sneeze?" with colour and everything but I think other clever recorders could do a better job. So the things we think late at night... GO! :D

More bear inspiration.

I've grown quite fond of my Grizzly character. He's just so scruffy and wrinkly and fun to draw <3 and grumpy of course XD

Feel free to change the caption by the side, I'd lost all my clever wit by the time I finished the picture.

(On a  side note, I found if you say grisly/grizzly enough you start to lose all meaning of the word and the pun)

Hey all just joined up, I love the idea around hitRECord! I dream of becoming a sought after producer like David Guetta & Timbaland. This is my first upload, a piece that I can see with rap verses and a singing chorus. It reminds me of something deep, titled it "Go Home" as home is our comfort and stress free zone, life hitting you off guard? Go Home. Hope you enjoy!

I would love for someone to write a tiny story for this illustration :)

Last night I had this dream about floating alien-creatures smiling at me.

"When we die, we're never really gone but become fireflies that'll light the night sky..."

I remember seeing people living in the country side catching fireflies by the river banks and the story of fireflies being the souls of the departed which in the end, inspired this illustration.

Just another test concept, hope no one minds the bad artwork :)

Don't mind the insanely simple illustration (took only about 10 minutes to finish). But this is more of a test; testing in some simple effects and brush setting.

Ah! Re-recording this without the pesky scan lines. 

This is something I did after feeling lost about where I was going. I took a step back to look at where I was from as I think finding our roots is an important part to self discovery.

This is an illustration for Down The Rabbit Hole by JillHebb. :-}

This drawing is based on an image of a star being eaten by a black hole, the small black dot being the black hole.

I guess it was this idea of entering the unknown and the journey that the star took into impending doom, resulting in a beautiful trail of its destruction.

This is one of my favorite tiny stories. I would love to see it get into the upcoming book, regardless of whose picture goes with it BUT since a picture seems to be a prerequisite for getting into the book and there isn't one yet, I am happy to provide one so it has a shot of getting in TBTSv1. This isn't my original; I altered thisisnotscott's picture.
