These are some I really enjoyed this week.
1) I've become a fan of thelostgirlofneverland's llustrations. They're all truly beautiful pieces. The ballerina is so nice and simple.
2) The fish bowl tiny story by thelostgirlofneverland
I think it is amazing. And though it has a tiny story with it, I think there are many other possible story (or tiny story) ideas for this illustration.
3. A (bubble's) Love Story by Jo.Dee
This story I think is clever. I think with further editing and additional illustrations, it could make a lethal combination. Even an animation would be awesome!
4. Cold Comfort by Symbiote
I really like this tiny story. There are many contradicting feelings about this. When I read it, I was wondering whether I would be comforted if I lit a candle only to find monsters looking at me, or if I'd prefer for them to be left in the dark with me… because seriously, you would generally just turn on the light so you wouldn't be scared, but wouldn't you be more scared if you could see the monsters? I couldn't decide. Makes you reconsider a night light
5. Snail shower by sojushots
This is a neat illustration that I think captures lynmidnight's tiny story very well. And the idea of snails freaks me out since my last encounter with a snail was because my friend chased me with it… nevertheless, the illustration was pretty straightforward, particularly with the look of concern and careful steps the girl is taking.
6. Little Foxes by Metaphorest
This is an amazing song that I cannot stop listening to. I love the layered vocals and the acoustic. I'd like to see where this goes, particular if someone applied it to an animation or video of some sort.
7. On the other hand… (tiny story) by todd68976
This tiny story made me laugh so much. The common expressions put into one tiny story, its awesome. "Walk a mile in someone's shoe", "started off on the wrong foot" and the literal idea of a right shoe on the left foot. And the fact that todd68976 puts that it isn't symbolic, just makes me laugh.
8. Coda by mariel_S
This is simply an awesome animation and if you haven't checked it out, I suggest you do so.
9. TSV2_Reflection_final by WRC Illustration
This illustration is gorgeous. I like the little boy in the picture who is looking at his reflection but the colors that surround him is what I think makes it look amazing. Many of WRC Illustration's that was released at about the exact same time are equally amazing too.
Now these last few I'm sure are already very popular because they are simply wonderful.
10. Snowflakes by blunderandfrightening
The emotion behind this is overwhelming it leaves you wondering what could have inspired it… if anything. But as its already been suggested, there are many ways that this can be illustrated, and not just in the literal sense.
12. Playing with Dinosaurs!- Illustration by Zkarlette
Based off of adgraphicdesign's tiny story, this made me laugh as well. Oh, little kids.
12. Happily Unaware (piano theme)
By ppeppina, need I say more… All of her music and pretty much everything else is absolutely wonderful. My favorite part of this is at about 30 seconds. The first 30 seconds seems to build you up in anticipation then picks up at 30 sec and gives you the most exhilarating feeling. It matches her tiny story amazingly well.
13. Turtle Romance by Zkarlette
I loved this illustration. Particularly because I think turtles are amazing (check out my username). And because of the "So, your shell or mine?" line and the illustration play off one another so well. If it was just "So, your shell or mine?" you wouldn't understand what it was about. But then add in the cute illustration of two turtles in love. It works :)
She immediately connected with him. Then they began to fall for the rest of their lives together. Until they hit the ground and burst.
Wirrow's foxy illustration reminded me of a song I wrote so I thought I'd share. xx
Little foxes lead the way
Trust their instincts
They know the way the land lays
Little insects, underfoot, are maimed
That’s the law of all things
There’s a code that we don’t know at play
In the spaces between things and in things
In every night every day
Do you feel it, hear it ring?
Little foxes know everything
Do you believe it? Breathe it in
Little foxes know everything
Do you believe it
Even in your skin
You’re a part of it all
A part of it all
To experience life from the left shoe's perspective, the right shoe started off on the wrong foot for a mile this morning. He found it to be extremely uncomfortable.
Really like the song Yes, We're Sinking by eaneikciv. Made another animation for it with a slightly different take on the song.
my tiny illustration needs a tiny story!
NOTE: I would love to see this perfect square image remixed and used somehow as VINYL (hitrecorderly #2) project art
"Go away, girls don't play with dinosaurs!"
"You're just mad cause yesterday my t-rex ate your triceratops"
-Tiny Story by adhgraphicdesign
Here's a rainy piano theme for my tiny poem "Happily Unaware"... feel free to use this as a background music! :)
And if someone wants to add vocals, go ahead! :) I'm gonna give it a try later, but right now I've got a flue, so I can't sing...
...p.s. I would love to see this story animated... ;)
