We were walking around doing Man on the Street interviews and we wanted to do an interview while riding around on a Horse n Buggy. as long as it was with somebody awesome.

We found Lyla and away we went.
She sang a bunch of copyrighted songs which I had to mostly cut out. But this gives the flavour.

Here's the first four personifications of the Nebulullaby planets. All I've done is cut together the footage of these performances. I haven't done any color, any effects, and the galactic transitions are being worked on. So what this needs is a real good polish. Take this video and give it color correction, and any other visual effects you want.

And if you're gonna take a pass at this, try to Release as hi-res a RECord as possible. Our file size limit is 500 MB. This one comes in at 497MB, ha!

Here's my version of stargazing. I did this last night because I couldn't resist how clear the sky was. This is taken over Clearlake in Northern California. I had the shutter open for 10 seconds which is why there's some noise, but you get the picture. Its only 2 seconds, but I managed to get a couple of planes, planets and shooting stars....Enjoy!

As a resource, I've been using some of the fantastic NASA Public Domain images that you can find here http://pds-imaging.jpl.nasa.gov/ and experimenting with 3D and animation in After Effects. I wanted to project the feeling of moving through space. Do you see it?

Okay, so I got so excited about Nebulullaby that I got up early this morning, packed my video camera and went back to the Exploratorium at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Living here now, it's alot easier than it used to be to get there. WOO!

After a false start (camera = good, lack of tapes = bad) I got about 20 minutes of footage. This is the last minute and a half. It's going to take a while to compress and upload the rest of it, but I wanted something up so folks knew it was coming.

And I didn't realize until last night that the Exploratorium was founded by Frank Oppenheimer -- which is unbelievably cool.
