MeganCarnes let me hear her song off her EP a bit early. And she had also been planning on taking vacation. So, inspired by the tune, I was like, "YOU SHOULD COME TO TEXAS AND SHOOT A VIDEO."

So she did.

I made this stop-motion animated short for my thesis in college (animation).  The great musical score is by Ihor Dawidiuk (ihordawidiuk.com).

A girl thinks she has found the greatest thing ever in her latest purchase. Its the newest way to get around but is it The Next Big thing or just the same old thing hiding behind a gimmick?

IT FINALLY WORKS finaly (DANCE DANCE REPETITION SHORT FILM) Devo and I worked really hard on this with the help of some some friends. hope u like it. now we are looking for Titles and Credits. Anyone up for it?

Here's a short video that I've been working on - inspired by Metaphorest's Ravens record. This was my first attempt at rotoscoping. I had to remake marcellepallais' hair, I hope I did her justice. I've been playing around a lot with the coloring, and I think I'll increase the contrast and bring out the blues a bit more.

I built and animated the the wings and birds from dgroeneman's "feather drawing" and sojushots' "winter tui". I've uploaded some pre-keyed high-res image sequences of the flying birds, and flapping wings as resources for remixability.

Ideally when I'm done, I'd like the video to span the entire song. I welcome feedback on where to go from here.

I had this big inspiration a few minutes ago, so I just had to record it... It's a tiny song I just wrote (it lasts only 1min10sec), and, because it was important for me to get the lyrics right, it's in Finnish! Hahaa I wonder how it sounds to you...

(For those who didn't know - shame on you! - Finnish is the language we speak in Finland which is a country in Northern Europe. You know, the country Conan O'Brien loves.)

this took nearly a full year after the original bass line & 'Ravens' RECords were released for me to 'crack' the idea for an arrangement that worked.
back in April 2011, i downloaded the audio stems that Albert, Sarah, and Matt uploaded to the site, and after trying some ideas that ended up not going aywhere, decided to put this REmix on hold until I could think of something suitable. Sometimes the best ideas come much later. Sometimes, it's better to put your impulses aside and allow time to pass...
in January 2012, I came up with the idea of looping Matt & Sarah's ending vocal lines which created the proper foundation, along with Albert's bass, for the song to move in a cohesive, structured direction. Everything else, the drums, guitar solo, format, followed suit.
And there you have it.
