At least as far as I'm familiar with it, it's a pattern where the lines squiggle but never cross. I used to have a vintage dress with a more angular version of it (stitched on; I might still have it. I should check, it'd be a good background/texture) and when I used to do cakes, piping this on in the same color as the icing was a nice way to add detail to, say, the sides of the middle tier, etc.
Here it is! Our first project to be released onto hitRECord! We didn't really know what we were doing, but we knew we wanted to do stuff with umbrellas and clouds. This image was created by cutting out umbrella shapes from construction paper, taping them onto the wall, taking a photo of it, and editing it on photoshop. The cloud photo was taken by us, and the star photo was from Wikipedia. It's not really good, but its a start. :)
