I came. I saw. I hesitated ... I danced!
I was trying to come up with some way to get an image for both the 'came/saw/hesitated' and the 'danced' in one. Tried this and record 763529. (I like this one better)
I'm really not an illustrator, that's probably clear :) , but if someone likes the idea maybe you can come up with a better version!

Not only is this a great and remixable (in more ways than one) track by MWC but this is probably one of my favorite find videos that i snatched this from on archive.org.

Music by MikeReaganNoise & Jess Pillmore, Lyrics Jess Pillmore
*I was inspired by the space Mike left in the piece and the looped feeling as if the song could just go on forever without resolving.
Time. Space.
This is a vast vacuum of suspended waiting
For
What?
Something to confirm
Something to deny
Something to say:
I saw what you saw.
I felt what you felt.
You are here now
In this
Time. Space.
This vast vacuum of
suspended waiting
For
What?
I added a couple new parts to the second half. I hope you enjoy.
Made 2 different versions with toris v/o. If anyone has any recommendations for placement or any further additions just let me know. Short Film by Mariel_S Music by eaneikciv V/O by tori
I remembered the 30 second collab today and thought I'd do an edit for reRECs in 30 seconds. There are a lot of resources for this very short piece, and I know I missed some, so let me know if you catch any.
Prepare yourself :)
Final version of the Jelly Babies. It was pretty tricky to animate some parts of the text where there was no action, no characters for example. Hope it worked well.
If you notice I missed resources, please, let me know.
Some of you have been writing new stories for the 'things that make me happy #1' record, so I thought I should upload a new version without the text.
I can always get rid of the textured background if need be.
The original text read:
things that make me happy #1:
Listening to sad music while having happy thoughts...
Thanks for listening! :D
Simple glockenspiel based piece.
So once upon a time, inspired by Ludovic Bource's music in "The Artist," I was trying write a pretty jazz piano piece and realized that I was accidentally playing the Jelly Babies theme. Then I forgot about it and then I remembered it and now I'm uploading it!
I figure this could be cool credit music for the Jelly Babies film (lidan was working on credits and was going to use this as the background music. Hmmm, wonder what happened with that.) Or not. I actually don't particularly care what you use it for! I hope you enjoy it though!

humm... everyone gets a little wound up every now and then. :P
I'm leaving the country tomorrow, so while I'll be drawing, I probably won't be uploading them as much (or just in big, overwhelming chunks of landscapes :'D) so this is a little 'ttfn' kinda record I've been sitting on.
it was supposed to be longer, but the inventor was uncooperative, and therefore I have rejected him for the moment. maybe later, when he's not giving me attitude, I'll complete this little tale. :)

He had a habit of wearing a heart on his sleeve, opposite his watch, and having it caught in every thing. |

Oh let's stir the silences
All of this is blessed
The half-light falls on our bones
We are not at rest
The sound of survival starts an age old revival (3x)
Oh let's stir the silences
All of this is blessed
[forgive the mess - it's been a while...]
something
is waiting for us to move
somehow
we'll make it through

i never meant to let you down
but somehow
i've managed to do it anyway
it goes in and comes out
we never seem to stay the same
and jocelyn
whatever i said to lead you astray
were stupid words
i never really meant to say
if you'd stop
and think about what you've done
we could heal
and let the pain reverse itself
it goes in and comes out
we never seem to stay the same

I've been getting back to some roots this past week.
Key: Bb7
BPM: 95
this piece could use some noise.
My hands xrayed with the assistance of my co-worker, Dr. Amanda Sayers. I have been wanting to take this xray for some time. Next week our office is becoming high tech with a new digital xray so I thought I would use one of the last 8x10 films and radiate myself for art. I talked some at work about HitRecord and my boss basically told me to go ahead but don't let OSHA find out.
Remixed eaneikciv's beautiful song based on lidan's tiny story! <3
This is my track Hero - Would be wonderful if someone / anyone / you would be willing to work on creating a music video for it!
Cordelia will you kill once again to find your sweet love?
will you travel far and wide to avenge your broken heart?
will you humble yourself or intoxicate a life?
the local wars are waiting standing by...
Cordelia
you're a slave of your liberty, my poor woman don't you know
that the rain of your heart is drowming in the lies?
cause your spineless bones are breaking through your skin
while the drops of lead intoxicate your sins...
Cordelia
I'm well, thank you.

(Don't know why there is dead 4:00 after. but its only 3:24 seconds long)
I wrote this song at the 11th hour. No seriously, i found this track and shit just came out of me, and then when i decided i was liking this i looked at the clock and it was 11:11, i took that as a sign to upload. it's been ages since i've written words for a song that someone has heard.
lyrics:
I wonder how we're going.
Lock & Load.
Even Space and Time between us,
the story is untold.
And here we are,
Countdown: to nothing.
Countdown: to nowhere.
Set the clock we're going
Time Traveler
It's been far too long,
and I couldn't wait to see your face.
They all know about us.
If it's you or me, I fall.
Countdown: to nowhere
Here I am, up against the wall
Time Traveler x2
And here we are,
Countdown: to nothing.
Countdown: to nowhere.
Set the Clock we're going.
Time Traveler.

Can ya dig it?
I took thesherbethead's May's Dream track and layed on some drums, bass, and added in some ambient effects to give it a new vibe.
I would love to see some SINGING over this or some RAPPING! :)
Thank you thesherbethead !!!!!!

"Floating. Floating," I think to myself as I draw a deep breath through my nose. I take notice of the cool sensation that the air creates as it rushes, first into, and then out of my nostrils. |
