This is the first choral arrangement I've ever done - so there are probably many issues. I apologize if it's clumsy or not what you were expecting. Since the sonnet was written by Shakespeare in the 16th century, I thought I would attempt to match the style of a contemporary musician, Thomas Tallis - I hope some of you familiar with his work think I got at least a little close!
I'm also sorry for the glitches here and there in the recording - it seems that musescore (the program I used) has those sorts of issues.
If you happen to have a 48-person choir that fits the requirements of this arrangement ((which is a classic 16th Century cathedral arrangement slightly modified by the addition of one female part in each choir - 8 choirs each consisting of 2 boy sopranos, 1 alto (preferably adult female, although a boy soprano could also sing this part, but it wouldn't be as strong as I would like it to be), 1 tenor, 1 baritone, and 1 bass)) and you wish to record your choir singing this in a public performance - then so do I. Once we get to that point in the conversation, I'll send you the sheet music through less public channels than hitRECord.
Simple glockenspiel based piece.

(As always, thanks to my 4yr old niece Gabrielle for her lovely narration skills. We always have a lot of fun making these, check out some of the others in the resource.)
There once was a boy named Skip.
He would skip rocks; with ooold Sea Turtles. He made a ghostly friend.
He loved adventures.
Guess what? Skip made a rocket! That's right, a rocket.
It was red and white, bright and shiny; big as a house. Skip was flying to the Moon.
"Are you ready Rocket?!" said Skip.
"Beep Bop Boop Bop, I am Ready."
"Then do a countdown!"
"3, 2, 1...."
"Blast off!!"
Skip and Rocket, flew through the air!! Skip could see the whole world!
The Moon was getting closer.
"We're almost there Rocket!"
"Beep Bop Boop Bop, approaching the Moon in 3, 2, 1...."
"We made it!!"
"Mission completed."
"Thanks Rocket."
Skip was so far from home; he didn't even care.
Skip was on a Journey, and boy he loved it.

Some of you have been writing new stories for the 'things that make me happy #1' record, so I thought I should upload a new version without the text.
I can always get rid of the textured background if need be.
The original text read:

I'm leaving the country tomorrow, so while I'll be drawing, I probably won't be uploading them as much (or just in big, overwhelming chunks of landscapes :'D) so this is a little 'ttfn' kinda record I've been sitting on.
it was supposed to be longer, but the inventor was uncooperative, and therefore I have rejected him for the moment. maybe later, when he's not giving me attitude, I'll complete this little tale. :)

My hands xrayed with the assistance of my co-worker, Dr. Amanda Sayers. I have been wanting to take this xray for some time. Next week our office is becoming high tech with a new digital xray so I thought I would use one of the last 8x10 films and radiate myself for art. I talked some at work about HitRecord and my boss basically told me to go ahead but don't let OSHA find out.

(Don't know why there is dead 4:00 after. but its only 3:24 seconds long)
I wrote this song at the 11th hour. No seriously, i found this track and shit just came out of me, and then when i decided i was liking this i looked at the clock and it was 11:11, i took that as a sign to upload. it's been ages since i've written words for a song that someone has heard.
lyrics:
I wonder how we're going.
Lock & Load.
Even Space and Time between us,
the story is untold.
And here we are,
Countdown: to nothing.
Countdown: to nowhere.
Set the clock we're going
Time Traveler
It's been far too long,
and I couldn't wait to see your face.
They all know about us.
If it's you or me, I fall.
Countdown: to nowhere
Here I am, up against the wall
Time Traveler x2
And here we are,
Countdown: to nothing.
Countdown: to nowhere.
Set the Clock we're going.
Time Traveler.

This is an old Appalachian spiritual from the 19th century that's in the public domain. It sometimes goes by the name Down to the River, but the first written versions used valley instead of river, so that's what I did here. It was sung by slaves working the field and first appeared in a book of slave songs in 1867. suzyrene brought it to my attention on tumblr.
I love this song and added some oooohs over the verses. I think this is a great song to build on, and I would love to hear other voices on it +harmonies. It just begging for a whole chorus of people. I tried coming up with a harmony after I composed the ooooh harmony, but it wasn't working, so I figured I'd throw it out to you guys.
The lyrics - roughly - are below. I didn't deviate hugely, but they're not 100% accurate.
As I went down in the valley to pray
Studyin' about that good old way
And who shall wear the starry crown
Good Lord, show me the way
Oh fathers let's go down
Let's go down come on down
Oh fathers let's go down
Down in the valley to pray
As I went down in the valley to pray
Studyin' about that good old way
And who shall wear the robe and crown
Good Lord, show me the way
Oh mothers let's go down
Come on down don't you wanna go down
Come on mothers and let's go down
Down in the valley to pray
As I went down in the valley to pray
Studyin' about that good old way
And who shall wear the starry crown
Good Lord, show me the way
Oh brothers let's go down
Let's go down come on down
Come on brothers and let's go down
Down in the valley to pray
As I went down in the valley to pray
Studyin' about that good old way
And who shall wear the robe and crown
Good Lord, show me the way
Come on sinners and let's go down
Let's go down oh, come on down
Come on sinners and let's go down
Down in the valley to pray
As I went down in the valley to pray
Studyin' about that good old way
And who shall wear the starry crown
Good Lord, show me the way
