Songs I have RECommended and ReRECommended that I think would be great for REmixing (or even maybe combining) for Volume 2. I especially like the tracks that call for more voices to add harmony or circle/round or vocal-only or music-only tracks that can be added onto :)
I had an itch to write something last night, I know it's short and more of a sketch, but I wanted to post something, it's been too long! Maybe something more can happen to it at some point. Hope you guys like it!
Also, the strings are from a mellotron(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mellotron).
SINGERS! Please add your vocals to this little round :)
Here's a Tiny Tune (ROUND STYLE) for InkedCanvas's "a cadence" tiny story. I would LOVE to have some of my vocals replaced by other hitrecorders! And maybe a little percussion or any other ideas y'all might have :) I've uploaded a version with only 1 layer to make adding new vocals a little easier, it can be found in the results or here: http://hitrecord.org/records/726177
alright here are just the vocals of my remix of "Young at heart" for re-remix purposes! if you feel like it, do something awesome with this :D (you might hear the piano really quiet, I couldn't get it off, but it's REALLY quiet so I hope it doesn't matter!:D)
STEMS can be found in the results :)
I loved thedustdancestoo's poem "to: a broken-hearted butterfly" that he wrote on tumblr and pretty much begged him to upload it to hitrecord so I could use it to write a song. Half a year later... I finally got around to recording it. (sorry...)
i'd love to have this remixed, maybe add some strings? i'd also love to see this used in a video or animation.
I wrote a song with my 'Do You Hear ' Dialogue Tale as Lyric - Matt has made an intriguing observation that it would be interesting if anyone wanted to sing the male half of the conversation ? : )
-DO YOU HEAR ME?
-I HATE REPEATING MYSELF
-IF YOU'D JUST LISTEN I WOULDN'T HAVE TO
-NO.YOU'RE ALWAYS TAPPING OR TYPING ON SOMETHING
-IF IT WAS IMPORTANT I WOULD HEAR YOU
-CALM DOWN.LOOK I HEARD YOU OKAY?
YEAH. BUT DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF?
Originating in Malibu. Written and recorded in the dead of night in Vancouver during a sleepless, enraged, stuck, and quiet moment. This gem squeezed straight from the heart is delivered as a an unpolished piece of privacy.
My score for the Turnip Head film minus Gary's reading. (The version with the narration is resourced.)
Even though this didn't get picked as the final turnip score, I'm still proud of it & I hope you guys will be able to find some other use for it!
