and in the morning
they shook their pillows
all the dreams they lost
that night would tumble out.
tiny story by thedustdancestoo
sometimes when i draw it can be very personal while other times i just try to imagine how it would be to feel that way.
so when it comes to creating a title i sometimes go blank so i decided for those drawings i will leave them with dotdotdots and leave it for someone else to title or interpret in their own way.
wish i was there..
she might be lost, looking down at her map
or knows exactly where she's going.
she may have even arrived where she wants to be.
- maybe there is a story to go with this if someone is inspired x
you are all stardust
- part of a quote kubi wrote from the physicist Lawrence M Krauss resourced below.
if anyone has their own stargazing memories or imaginary starry stories to share, that would be yayy!!
this is just a sample from a series of Victorian portrait pendants i made from recycled paper, ink & tea.
it's a small image so i could take some pictures of them individually if need be.
this is for the 'same story, different ending' collab.
i'm not very good at writing but wanted to give a little example of a different take on this nursery rhyme.
it would be great to see a darker approach to these stories too..illustrators could also create some odd looking characters.
i wanted to stay close to sophierumi's style for the journey of jeanine so she inspired this forest.
this is before an unexpected visit..
imagine jeanine's surprise when she met Wolfred who was having a cosy time among shoetrees and teacups,
so they waited for the teapot to brew and enjoyed a nice cup of tea together.
i had so much fun making tiny envelopes, got carried away so i stuck a few on the ground.
they don't show up too much against the background but they could be cut out.
