Hello HitRECord I've been away from the site for a while but glad to be back and catch up with contributing to Hitrecorderly #2 - Vinyl! Here are my picks for some potential projects. To be listened to in order but not restricted to it.

2) Heavy Hands by Day Glo
3) Bugnuts by SLR73
4) Paper Dolls by karrieb1
5) “Monster Rock” (Instrumental) by artanon
6) Oh Jocelyn, dear by tonguecutsparrow
7) light progressive rock instrumental by wonderfulpanda
8) Midnight Boogie Blues by Robo_J
9) Howling at the Moon by the Boxsets
10) Slow Sparkle Rock by QuietAndy
Just drinking some beers and playing guitar. Is it a good mix? I don't know and I don't give a fuck.
Needs: more guitar; howling feedback; drums; percussion; more vocals; maybe brass; maybe strings; anything that makes noise.
Powder blue eyes salt water lies you've tried everything but nothing's going right
Heavy hands and empty head Should've thought before you said
Black eye, split lip land locked, seasick Listen to the lock click Waiting for the morning to come
Remember what your did when they caught you crying?
Didn't know what to say They just left you there and walked away
Say you love me Tell me lies Cross your heart and hope to die Soon all the ghosts of what you've done wrong will rise.
I really don't think these things through, folks. Whatever comes out comes out. Who would have thought heavy metal and 50's style rock would work so well. NOBODY. Follow that up with a retro 60's/70's UK sounding ending. Does it work?? ...ish.
Here's a lyrical idea for your song Ryan... I don't have the best equip... but it's punk so... I guess it can be grungy
Recorded many years ago, this was intended to be the basis for a B-52s type song or a surf instrumental. I hope it inspires REmixing! Sorry, no stems or individual tracks, the mp3 is the only surviving record of this analog jam :)
[forgive the mess - it's been a while...]
something
is waiting for us to move
somehow
we'll make it through
jocelyn
i never meant to let you down
but somehow
i've managed to do it anyway
it goes in and comes out
we never seem to stay the same
and jocelyn
whatever i said to lead you astray
were stupid words
i never really meant to say
if you'd stop
and think about what you've done
we could heal
and let the pain reverse itself
it goes in and comes out
we never seem to stay the same
something i cooked up tonight.
played a little guitar n bass with one of Gwen's loopyloops.
a little boogie for you.
<3
no bpm.
dedicated to artists with disregards for manners. artists that catch that feeling and lose their fucking heads.
I made this for a college assignment, it's not quite finished (small speakers have trouble with the bass synth) but I'm quite excited about it!
Sort of Ambient Post-Rock.
