Overlay is in 720p hd, mp4 files.
Hypnotizing kind of motion pattern I created. I hope it can be useful for someone.
Thanks :)
Accidentally exposed the Polaroid film to the sunlight too soon, but I kind of like the way it developed.
So, after seeing several 'shitRECord' records in the past few weeks, I finally made myself go see “Hesher” last Tuesday. Absolutely remarkable, entertaining and emotional performances by all the actors! Oh, and the walk with grandma scene made my eyes quite teary. If anyone has had to deal with grief recently, you might want to watch this film. It hits the heart in a curious way.

Playing around with scratches and color flashes.
Thanks :)
An acoustic version of my song Quicksand that may actually be better than the original. I don't know, but I'm really jamming with this one. How do you like it? You can stream the original as well as my whole record here: http://haydenarpmusic.com/listen/

Theres about 15 or so video clips in this file, that can be cut and pasted into the And A New Earth collab if needed. The majority of them are focusing on flowers, and nature, but I did get a couple of people and traffic as well. Couple of shots of the mailman doing his thing came out pretty good, and he was very opened to being filmed. Win/win!
This was all shot outside my apartment complex in Las Vegas. I'm hoping to get some more footage down on the strip very soon. Hope this is helpful to those video editors and whatnot that are working on the and a new earth collaboration project. I'd love to be a part of it somehow!
Enjoy.

I took a lot of pictures at the Cabrillo National Monument today, but something about this one stuck with me. It's a close up of one of the lenses that graced the lighthouse in Cabrillo at one point in history. The artistry of these lenses is intense, and according to the monument the building of the lenses is a dead art.
I think this is from part of the "Detroit Industry Murals" painted by Diego Rivera at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Obviously, a bit closer up than you're supposed to view them!
Before I used "auto tone" or "auto color" (whichever I used, I don't remember) this looked much more uniformly grey, almost like graphite scribbling on paper. So if it's not quite what you want but close, try messing with the contrast or desaturating it.
Inspired by reading Bret Easton Ellis's Less Than Zero.
Anyone want to read the other person?
Took out my sorry excuse for vocals and extended the song in case someone wanted to sing. do have some people saying "All this hath been" but that's okay it's all public domain nonsense taken from a reading of Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem "To--"
This is a song written from the lyrics of a great short poem by conrobertyler. It's what I heard when reading it anyway. Would like drums/piano/any other instrument available, as well as of course some visual art!

E-tainment central, as far as I can get..
My source of entertainment, my creation station, my connection to the world..
Source of sanity, insanity and everything in between..
$20 Belkin KVM I picked up at the goodwill computer store, I'd not be able to jump between the mac and pc so fast.. Not enough can be said great about that little gadget,,
There on the corner, everything, the mac, the Windows and linux all in one area, every operating system platform needed to be creative..
Little clay man, little clay man, remembered well
the stories that to the children he used to tell
He remembered the story of the saint of France
and he remembered the story that made them dance.
Little clay man little clay man how can it be?
How can you have changed history?
And now you sit upon this rock thinking why,
just waiting and waiting until you can dry.
Little clay man little clay man, he dried very well,
and now he had no more stories to tell.
The children were sad but they indeed knew,
that the little clay man would always retain his grayish hue.
The little clay man was placed on the Christmas tree
for all of the village to come and see.
They saw the little clay man up near the sky
and that way the little clay man never said bye.
