this photo was my test run onto hitRECord - it was the first thing i ever uploaded.  i then made it my avatar as it is both one of my favorite and most defining photographs. :)

i'm leaving the initial statement i had posted which was:

the lighting is just the sun- there is almost no photoshop done.  curious to see where it goes.

this was an intense day!  as a note, this is pretty much the photograph with almost no photoshop - just some windows live photo gallery exposure tweaks and a tiny saturation bump - that is really what it looked like.

not sure how it can be remixed but thought i would put it out there...

i like how there are cherry blossom photos being uploaded from all over the world right now.  they are so beautiful.

the sunset on the hollywod sign can look pretty cool.

xanlee gave me one of the hardest challenges yet!  she challenged me to get 3 words from 3 strangers (an emotion or just a word) and then take a photo/make a photo collage that expressed all 3 words in one concept.

i asked the first 3 people i saw when i went out last night and the words i got were "grace" "when" and "despair" (!!)

i turned it into the sentence "when grace meets despair" and the above is my photo to follow that concept...

this is a straight photograph with basically no photoshop...i thought it might be good for a background or some other sort of remix as needed?

i've been wanting to add shots to this collab for a while and finally got the chance!

airports are full of waiting!  plus i really liked the lighting effect here.  almost no photoshop.

i did add some contrast to this - but his hair is really that red!  he is calvin personified from calvin and hobbes!

this actually is prety much the straight shot - just added contrast and saturation and a little bit color temp...the sun was really low in the sky and made a cool effect :)

this dog was rescued by my friend's neighbor...he used to be very scared and shy...he now is one of the happiest little guys you will ever meet!  (and he takes a very cute picture imho)
