i feel like this needs a story... for some reason when it makes me think of a post-apocalyptic world with only one human survivor... but maybe i'm crazy : D

I'd imagine they were like Ponyo and her sisters... floating around in space. Though I don't think they'd want to be human, they're just worried that they might fall and people would wish upon them, unknowing that they just wished on a star's demise.

but i think they need a story...

My hands xrayed with the assistance of my co-worker, Dr. Amanda Sayers. I have been wanting to take this xray for some time. Next week our office is becoming high tech with a new digital xray so I thought I would use one of the last 8x10 films and radiate myself for art. I talked some at work about HitRecord and my boss basically told me to go ahead but don't let OSHA find out.

i stood and watched the final sunset

If someone wants to remix this I would not be heartbroken.  I just thought of several of the intro videos for the live shows that used this phrase and thought it might be a fun postcard.

I kept the generic postcard back on this that's been used on a bunch of the ones in the collab as I assume they'll all be changed to be uniform in the end.  And I know the logo will have to be replaced if this one is used.

So it has been an amazing first 2 weeks on hitrecord for me and I felt that some thanks were in order! This is nothing special, or pre-planned, but the idea came to me and I knew it would make the perfect thankyou card. In the image are my re-imaginings of some profile pictures, some of the famous characters here, and many names of recorders who influence me. When I have more time I will type out everyone who is featured on the record. I look forward to many exciting collaborations and discoveries.

In an ideal world the images would have been photoshopped on directly from the featured artwork on the site---but photoshop is too expensive and so I had to make do with a good nib. I have the template from before I added the characters--just yell out if you want it.

*Update* all of the images have been resourced, but there are many names included in the record as well that are not resourced!
