This is a sea shanty called, obviously, Rolling Down to Old Maui.  For some reason I got the urge to record a sea shanty.  Didn't really know any.  Don't know that anybody in the world is at home saying, hey, I wish somebody would cover a sea shanty,  Looked a few up and this one intrigued me because of the sound and story.  It's public domain.

I added a bass line and some guitar. I also extended it a bit more and played with the ending.

I heard jcpeterson's "Ballet" and Krr's remix, and instantly fell in love with it. The song was begging to be remixed, so I tried a little something at the end. Maybe it would sound better with the guitar.

It's not phenomenal and kinda sounds like Lana del Rey, but you know. Tell me what you think !

I said I would get back to my roots…. about 2 months ago… but I’ve been really busy.  So this is my first attempt.  Used the same method of songwriting I did for all my early stuff, which felt so warm and awesome. :) Welp, here ya go, guys.  Hope you get something out of it, or just like it and stuff.

This is a little different than most of my Tiny Tunes, instead of beginning as a Tiny Story, it started as a little song first and I'm hoping it will maybe inspire a Tiny Story.

I have this one idea that maybe there's a special Shadow Being cast only by the glow of night lights that puts people to sleep at night and takes them to a dreamland. I could see this being animated, or even just flashing photos, illustrations, and footage found on the site, and speeding up at the "ahhh" part of the song. It would be a good way to incorporate a whole lot of people's work into this 1 minute song.
