Womanwithlittleplane

I separated the woman with the little plane of the rest of the remix.

It's in PNG, and I obsessively removed the white edges of the cutout, so she is ready to be remixed more times!

Lyrics:

Its 4 a.m. and I cant breathe

'Cause I lost my soul in Tennessee

To the most beautiful girl that I've ever seen

She took my heart and carried it on her sleeve

Love under the southern sky

Can't get you out of my mind

Now it's 5 a.m. and I can't sleep

'Cause I got my mind working overtime

Just thinking of the girl who changed my life

With her, oh so adorable summertime smile

Love under the southern sky

Can't get you out of my mind

6 a.m. and I just leave

Asking around, "has anyone found

The most beautiful girl that I've ever seen"

Turns out, she had been looking for me

At 4 a.m. I couldn't breathe

Cause I lost my soul in Tennessee

To the most beautiful girl that I'd ever seen

She took my heart as we walked all through morning

Love under the southern sky

So I just recorded my friends playing horns for Enjoy The Ride. My friend Matt Smith is in a band called the Skank Agents and he dug this song so he arranged a bunch of parts for him and his friends to play. This is the break down of who played what.

Matt Smith -Trombone + arranger

Lucas Moore - Trumpet

Alex Heath - Tenor Sax

Steve Sly - Bari Sax

I didn't play anything for this I just recorded it. I really really dig what they did. Stems will be up shortly. Let me know what you all think.

Probaby my last synth adventure for a while. Focus on getting back to my indie roots. I really love all the sounds in this though. I pictured spring or summer just rolling along. Very scenic. Hopefully this satisfies my synth sweet tooth for a while

I left the sound in cause I kind of liked the scratchiness. Music, maybe? Other effects? This is a high resolution file.

the picture is a bit older but I love it still. :-) It would be creepy even if we would actually observe someone while we are sleeping hm?

A Whiskey Picnic

Ain’t no grapes and ripped bread, we sip whiskey instead

We drink and dream of casks and caskets

On a whiskey picnic you don’t need no basket

Two shots for the road lightens the load

But five or six And you’re really fixed

On highways and byways we walk the train tracks

And forget the way back

Our voices rattle and chain down whiskey lane

As we sing a song it carries us along

Our whiskey picnic ho-down Feels warm on the way down

That corn wine flow don’t lay us low

Whiskey picnics don’t end when you got bottled friends

Our throats washed in gold, it never gets old

On outdoor dinners we’ll fill our jiggers

And toast God’s barrels, sing whiskey carols

Whet our lips and kiss with candor when our blood’s half amber

We forget to speak and fall asleep

Lay our glasses down on leaf and ground

Whiskey picnic roll-around

We wake for swigs, hair full of twigs

Slurred sweet nothings that pluck our heartstrings

My bottle’s yours, we break only for pours

We’re star-crossed drunks, we raise our cups

To getting’ frisky: Cheers, darlin’, here’s to whiskey.

So I took wirrow's 'together on fire' and sort of reimagined it classically and in Italian. The lyrics are:

Essere sempre sul fuoco

Essere in flamme

which as far as i can tell, roughly translates to 'be always on fire' and 'be on fire.'

There are 6 layers and they're all just my voice.

In my collaboration "Spiderlimbs and Eerie Things" I challenged all the crontibutors to consider coming together with our creepy stories and illustrations to create a graphic novel. A graphic novel is the perfect collaboration project as it necessitates a writer, penciller, inker, letterer, and colorist.

In the case of this first story I have filled in as penciller and inker, just to get the ball rolling, and obviously, Metaphorest was the writer of the poem "The Sorrow Bird". Now all that is needed (for this story, at least) is a letterer and colorist. Help me out guys! (Or start your own penciller/inker steps by choosing another story in the collab.)

If you want to take on either of these jobs, download the zip file of all the pages!
