I contacted Peppina about remixing Lights Out, and [being the wonderfully talented person that she is] laid out a beautiful instrumental track with piano, strings and vibraphone and recorded the vocals, which I have meshed together into a Lights Out duet: Pamagotchi & Peppina remix!

This is Version 1: I really love where this song is going and all the different ways it could go, so I would love your feedback!

Also Peppina, you are a star, supremely talented, and I cannot thank you enough for working on this track with me. Here's to many more collborations!

Keepin'em comin'

Man invented the guitar while watching for the fish.

Last Saturday I was walking through the music instruments store and looking at guitars. And then I got a strange thought: the guitar looks like a fish (either a jelly-fish, or a nautilus...) While sitting in a cafe shortly after, I took an album and made a fast sketch of my idea.

We all know how things were created and who invented them. But what if we can imagine an alternative way of creating the world? Maybe people invented thing, while being inspired by something.

So it has been an amazing first 2 weeks on hitrecord for me and I felt that some thanks were in order! This is nothing special, or pre-planned, but the idea came to me and I knew it would make the perfect thankyou card. In the image are my re-imaginings of some profile pictures, some of the famous characters here, and many names of recorders who influence me. When I have more time I will type out everyone who is featured on the record. I look forward to many exciting collaborations and discoveries.

In an ideal world the images would have been photoshopped on directly from the featured artwork on the site---but photoshop is too expensive and so I had to make do with a good nib. I have the template from before I added the characters--just yell out if you want it.

*Update* all of the images have been resourced, but there are many names included in the record as well that are not resourced!

my microphone seems to be doing weird things lately. like sounding like i put some weird muffled telephone effect on it when i didn't. or maybe that's just my voice. yay for bronchitis!

I'd love to have this remixed, maybe with some additional instruments, percussion or harmonies. I can also see this song used in a Tiny Film for the "Stay Away" tiny story. Maybe with some footage of someone driving and having good and bad flashbacks or something.

He sucked.

In all senses of the word:  the sad vampire has a strawberry milkshake addiction- as well as this he is banished from vampire society for being vegetarian. He gets his protein from soya. He spends his lonely nights at a milkshake parlor bathing in self pity.

I don't where this story is going...? Want to help me? :)

This is kind of part 2 to Electric Loss. I used all of the same synth sounds except for the addition of one new sound. 

There is magic in the world. :)

I wanted more visual repetition, but I didn't want to be too choppy...suggestions?

This is an edit of wirrow's Give Me All The Flickering Lights.  I originally thought the whole video should be one large flickering light but quickly learned that this poem is about a lot more. Or maybe it isn't...?

this is an Apoyo lagoon woman for Gaby's "Legends, Myths, Stories and folklore Collab. They live in a city at the bottom of the lake and drag unsuspecting people down into the deep dark depths.
