I created a third verse towards the end because I think it would be really cool if we had a guest rapper come in and mix it up a little bit. It would be cool for the rapper to kind of follow the same vibe and lyrical content that's going on already. It's kind of a fun over the top baller vibe for the music but then the lyrical content is rather bittersweet. So you could rap about the positives and negatives about being rich and famous and hitting the big time. But ultimately fuck me and do whatever the hell you want. haha
Also the last few seconds accidentally got cut off when I bounced the song because I'm an idiot. But that's OK because this isn't the final version so I'll just leave it be. The focus of this upload is to get someone to do a rap over that open verse anyway. Or it doesn't have to be a rap. You could totally blow my idea out of the water and just sing over it or whatever.
I made this beat from chopping up and sampling different parts of the MMM score. In fact every sound from the beat except the kick drum and high hat are from the MMM score.
Ashes to Ashes wrote these awesome lyrics and did these really great vocals and then I remixed the song again and now this is what we got.

OK I'm really happy with the way this turned out. But this track wasn't hard to make because Madison's guitar and Ashes vocals were both equally amazing.
I took this little song they did and turned it into a beat. Now the chorus is there but I left two 16 bar verses open for people to rap over, sing over or do whatever over.
This needs vocalists so have at it people.
I can't wait to see what you all do with this.
Also I'll humbly take any suggestions you might have as far as the arrangement for the song goes or the mix or whatever.
:)
Note: You should check out the original version of this song too. It's amazing by itself. I chopped up and time stretched the fuck out of everything to make it a beat.

*
so here i am across the lake
and left with little time
i look back on my journey here
and write this very rhyme
to tell you how it all began
as soon i will forget
a sacrifice i have to pay
until all is reset.
i'll be with you again, my love
perhaps not as before
but i will find brief melodies
to break us from our chores.
a momentary lapse, perhaps
through lovers who can see
in moments of divine desire
the ones we used to be.
the sparks that flew in our embrace
remembered in a kiss
flickers of our ancient love
in these human blips of bliss.
and that will ever be enough
to keep us burning bright
an ember can ignite a fire
one flame can warm the night
it's time for me to let go now
and be carried away,
but i take this message with me
so it may find you one day.
through whatever way it chooses
through whomever it may find
to remind you in your darkest hour
that we were once entwined.
when tragic moments break your heart
when lost within a crowd
when fear has taken hold
and when your stories roar too loud
just remember that it’s all a tale
a big game of pretend
and one day, as all stories do
ours will also end.
but we’ll meet again back at the start
with no knowledge of our birth
we'll do it all again, by heart
a new hevn and a new urth.

So I recently came back from a study abroad trip to Florence, Italy and I must say it was the best 4 weeks of my life. It was my first time on a plane and such so everything was really a first time experience for me & I enjoyed it so much and hope that one day I'll be able to go back. To remember everything I could from this amazing trip, I recorded everyday and documented as much as I could...
Having said that, I have plenty of raw footage that I will be uploading on hitRECord that I hope you will find useful and I will compile all of them into an album. P.S. Whenever you have the opportunity...travel. I've discovered that it's one of the best things in life. :)

So forever ago - and yes, that is an accurate definition of time - I started this Bestiary collab and got a lot of contributions to it. I was looking through those tonight and decided to start singing some of them because, well, if you check out the collab, you'll understand.
So I chose Todd's great Manatee poem to do first. I'm a Floridian, I love manatees. And I will unabashedly use my classical voice and training on these little pieces because, fuck it, that's what I'm good at. And it's fun for me to sing these cute, silly little poems in my big beautiful classical voice. So there. :-P

These are some beats i put together a while ago. Would love someone to use the song for a film or to put vocals over! Have fun!
120 bpm
There may yet be more tinkering on this, but I'm pretty happy with it.
Kudos to KellyMarieDay for adding the vocals! I hadn't originally even envisioned this thing having vocals!
Lyrics are from smweed's poem, "Into Midnight."
Just some stock footage of me getting my Olympics on in the pool. The raw footage is up front and then I had some fun with a little editing behind it.
Glockenspiel and harmonies. Always thought this could do with building on - synthy sounds and drums and such. Please go crazy with it - that would make me very happy :)
Run little animals
From these woods
Although you never thought you could you could
Fly little insect
Out of harm’s way
Keep safe you only live a day a day
Swim little fishes
To the sea
Instinctively you move downstream downstream
Live little human
Don’t sleep yet
There’ll be time to sleep when you’re dead you’re dead
One form an album I've been writing. I think I'd love someone to find more from it. Collaborations are encouraged.
REMIX REMIX REMIX!
Verse 1
I am known as a child of a man, Learnt to drive at the front of a bus, I cannot see what others can, Never quite learnt how to cuss, Verse 2
Still I find the little things, Hidden flower-filled balloons, Fables lined with cats and kings, Innocence in old cartoons,
Chorus
I am J. M. Barrie's evolutionary son, Never will they see me act my age, It's hard enough to know someone who's page I know I'm on, It's worse to know that you just lost the page,
Verse 3
I am known as a gentleman, Taught to act with courtesy, The one's who stole the girl Roxanne, Have found a way of hurting me, Verse 4
I write my words in ways my own, Without the insincerity, Many hours I spend alone, Ensure my light insanity, Chorus x 2
You'll find the STEMS in the RESULTS section below. Go crazy, sorry I took so long to show the lyrics/stems. The rhythms have been perfected now, so no annoying out of sync drums.
