I can't believe I'm about to do this, but I am going to rap over this awesome track by Jeff Peff, RegularJOE, and MattConley. I don't know how good it will sound because I have never rapped before,...

So I added a couple more layers, added a lot of reverb, and flanger on the original.
I hope this comes even close to Megan's beautiful song.
I wanted to have a bit of fun with rob's absolutely marvelous rendition of inky's story "beneath a willow tree".
I'm not sure if I actually added anything...but I certainly hope I haven't diminished the great work done by moi, inky, penelope, and of course, rob.
This is the second iteration, with rachel and amy's back ups added, of our Words We're Wailing version. Feel free to add your voices or music to it as well! Rachel should be adding her stem up here soon, and I'll make sure to put up my stems here in the next day or so.
Megan and I worked on a song. RAWR.
I am completely stuck on what to do with this song; so I thought I'd throw it up here and see if you awesome musicians could help me out - if you need the stems, just lemme know; "ask and ye shall receive" I always say.
****Lyrics:
once pristine vials of nascent youth
now a broken heart i can't refuse
if i could hear you one more time
i'm sure i'd eventually change my mind
but you're dead and gone
where you belong
i think i'll let the ghosts of my past stay dead
the mirrors have become infused
with portraits of what was once you
they monitor my every step
with every condescending breath
but you're dead and gone
right where you belong
so why can't these ghosts of my past stay dead?
as the years disintegrate
i slowly forget the mistakes i made
just when i think i made it out
i see your face in every cloud
i thought you were dead and gone
right where you belong
but the ghosts of my past are resurrecting
i love babbish's tune...i hope i didn't lose the mood of the original...
I really love this song by eaneikciv - and it more than deserves its current place in the featured RECords.
I hope my few touches have helped it grow like the flower in its (ICON).
this time with synthesizer..
i will upload all the stems for both of my versions separately...i tried to upload them as .zip files to make it easy, but the site wouldn't upload them, and how i hate clogging up the just released section with all the lil parts to a song...but i shall...you know, for the community and all.
Thanks to Lizzienrose and Metaphorest for such a wonderful song...
for smweed. what a wonderful poem.
I'm callin' you out, pard'ner.
I saw Jane's wonderful lil Tiny Story and decided to write a song to it. And this is that song. I think that makes sense.
Jane's original tiny story:
A little cloud sat crying raindrop tears.
Hope came along, wrapped him in her arms,
and the little cloud found his silver lining.
[[Another beautiful tiny story from my hitRECord muse, Phen]]
great original RECord by Vedder...
Metaphorest sang beautiful words over my distorted guitar - and this is the result. We'd love to have some of you add some more types of sound to it!
it's not much; just added some strings...
I hope this adds a little to this beautiful tiny story.
