This photo is actually from my last visit to Scotland, which would have been... the end of 2008/early 2009? It is somewhere just outside of Echt, near Aberdeen, where I come from originally. We went for a walk in the woods and, as is the rule of a British winter, it was a very grey day, when the sun burst through the trees!

I'm still new to this , this is my first entry so I'm still trying to figure things out here but here we go!!!!

This picture or in the case that I manage to upload all my pictures these pictures were taking on a park in Bayamon Puerto Rico. I remember buying my camera and wanting to take pictures with it but I really had no idea of what and then one day I remembered how beautiful the park were my mother , grandmother and I go to walk and get some exercise is , so I brought the camera along and this is the result.

I'm proud to say that my hometown allowed this to stand and build around it. Don't ask who lived here or what building it was, I don't know. I do know that it was a house and the family was wealthy and prominant...and I had to cross four lanes of traffic to get this.

a beautiful tree with an evil plan.

this is a photo of a strangler fig that my dear friend lizzie introduced me to while visiting her in monteverde, costa rica. the beauty and evil of the strangler fig is that it takes over another tree and eventually kills it, but leaves behind a hollow trunk that you can climb. it's the scariest thing i've ever tried to do. this is how i celebrated my 25th birthday.

There's a small wooded path that leads from Bellevue Community College to the park and ride near by, at the base of the hill. There's been a bit of crime going on there, despite these wonderful street lamps illuminating it.

I chose to contribute this photo because of when it was taken. I took a mini road trip with my sister to Tahquamnon Falls in the upper peninsula last summer. It was a short trip, only lasting four days, but those were four of the happiest days of my life. When I read the description for this collab ("those amazing moments in the summer where you feel free of responsibilty and pressure"), I immediately thought of that road trip, and more specifically the walk that I took down to the gorge, which is when this photo was taken.

Taken one early Danish morning during my semester abroad.

This is a picture taken one afternoon in Copenhagen, Denmark. The weather was beautiful so I decided to do my work outside in one of the city's gardens and here's the result.

lemons in my backyard... well turns out they were some kind of lime/lemon yellow colored thing but anyway, they taste good :D

Just outside the front of my house this spider has taken up residence, and built quite the web for himself, prompting a ghetto of sorts, with new spiders popping up every day bringing with them more webs, of course.
I decided I'd try get some different angles of the spider by opening the window it's right next to. In this photo two spiders are shown, the nearer of the two I didn't notice until after I took this, which prompted me to freak out and close the window I was leaning out of at a furious pace.
I'm no arachnophobic, but I'm also no fan of our eight-legged friends. The light and angle came out interesting, so I thought I'd RECord it. Maybe someone will find somewhere to go from here...

This tree in the middle of Manhattan has blossoms not just in its branch-tops like most springtime trees, but all up and down the trunk and every single branch! I've never seen such a thing before. It looked like a bridal tree!
