the Teafaerie as a child

These surfers were dedicated! This picture was taken on New Year's Eve 2006 from the Pismo Beach pier. It was about 70-75 outside that day but the water was frigid and the wind was gusting.

A nice wave in Costa Rica

This is one of the few surfing photos that I didn't shoot standing waist deep in the water. The locals know how to climb down the cliff to get to the water, but I fell behind and didn't see how they did it. So this was shot from the edge of a 150 ft drop.

A relaxing moment at the beach

Another Costa Rica shot. I believe this guy's name was Eric, he was a beginner at surfing & was a bit dejected so he sat down under the tree and a stray puppy came over to hang out with him.

Time for a picnic at my favorite place, the "Old broken bridge". This is a new wood bridge built since few years. Before we hadn't.

For the little story, the bridge was broken at world war I, it was re-built one time between the 2 wars and was broken again at world war II. I only knew the "old broken bridge" but this new "old broken bridge" is really a beautiful place now. It's the road between marina and air camper.

In the heart of all Stenay's persons his name stayed :the old broken bridge...
