ok, obviously i have no idea what i'm doing, but grabbing my fave bits and stringing them together for a wham-bam minute-ana-half of pure sean and lyla - that was fun. enjoy!

SXSW Evening with hitRECord

The concept of this short is "New RECorders are born everyday." This will continue to be a work in progress because there isn't enough audience/crowd footage from the SXSW shows up yet. Once more clips are uploaded this can be built on.

Maybe someone else could take this concept - or one similar - and go back to Sundance and cut something like it?

Perhaps we could look to make these kinds of videos after each new festival attracts new RECorders and collaborators?

While watching the live stream from the SXSW screening tonight, seeing what was happening with the online audience, I leapt up out of my seat, realizing an opportunity.

I might have framed it better, I suppose. Surely it can be cropped though.

South by Southwest, Austin, Texas, 20 March 2010

Right before SXSW, we muster all the volunteers who have agreed to help put the shindig on to fill all the registrant bags with the goodies. It is quite an experience!

Over the years we have got it down to such a fine art that we knocked out tens of thousands of these in about 2 hours. Somewhere on YouTube there's a great time-lapse video of this year's stuffing.
