There are things in that paper which nobody knows but me, or ever will.
Behind that outside pattern the dim shapes get clearer every day.
It is always the same shape, only very numerous.
And it is like a woman stooping down and creeping about behind that pattern. I don't like it a bit. I wonder

pallas athene's champion mirrored an image more monstrous than the mighty gorgon cared to bare.
perseus moved past marbled medusa, unmoved by her magical masquerade. demonstrating her mortality by man's masterful mind.

this is part of the greek mythology series. inspired by the ages of man by hesiod which he wrote to understand the world of homer. so in a sense this is an homage to nietzsche who analysed both authors and made it easier for us iron-heads to understand the old-timey greeks. thanks fritz.

the composition was inspired by füsslis/fuseli's - the silence.
