a response to the greatdrawing by gblancag. she inspired me to post some of my own drawings. which i am still to scan.

the writings on her back are two words merging:
hoffnung = hope.
erschütterung = best translation i can think of is: (emotional) tremor, shock, agitation.

pallas athene's champion mirrored an image more monstrous than the mighty gorgon cared to bare.
perseus moved past marbled medusa, unmoved by her magical masquerade. demonstrating her mortality by man's masterful mind.

something i needed to share since i figured tiny stories exist most commonly in images. and this one is dear to me.

self portrait excercise to achieve beauty lighting with only one diffused beauty dish and a shit load of reflectors and bouncers. also an excercise in fashion to showcase that funky red button i made especially for hitrecord.

this is part of the greek mythology series. inspired by the ages of man by hesiod which he wrote to understand the world of homer. so in a sense this is an homage to nietzsche who analysed both authors and made it easier for us iron-heads to understand the old-timey greeks. thanks fritz.
