i added all the other vocal contributions to the song together. it's also i think a tiny bit easier on the ears now

This is the first song I've ever written, so it's pretty mediocre(especially in the lyrics department), but it was a lot of fun to record. :) If anybody wants to add/subtract/mess around with/ rerecord, please be my guest!

PS: I have to say that I never would have thought myself capable of songwriting if not for the inspiration hitRECord offers me on a daily basis. Thanks, guys!

Hello!
I'm looking for a big strong chorus to accompany this shy voice on a couple of songs. (percussion or more instruments would be cool too!)

Specs:
1. In the chorus I sing "Gravity has taken its toll on me" (this happens twice) and I would love to hear one thousand more voices singing/saying this.
2. In the third verse I sing "She begged all of the babies to scream" and I would love to hear screaming behind the word "scream."
3. At the end I sing "The universe echoed with a mighty wind, it said 'gravity has taken its toll, gravity has taken its toll on me, gravity has taken its toll on me" and, again, I would love to hear one thousand more voices singing/saying this along with my voice.

This is probably my most personal song...made when I was just figuring out how to use editing software like Audacity. It was one of the first songs where I could actually hear my voice; after the hours and hours and hundreds of songs written and forgotten, I could now record and edit what had been going around my brain since I was a child.

Why? by HelloLindsayyyyyy inspired me to post this. I'm not an aspiring actress but i find that I still measure myself against hollywood's picture of how life should be. I believe that people should follow their dreams, but i also think that life gains a kind of richness after you stop wanting to be famous. there's this beautiful feeling of self-acceptance that comes with letting go of that.

I had an impulse of sloppy passion and creativity this weekend! It's low-fi, dorky wizard wrock... but it's full of honest longing.
