I know the posters for the upcoming SXSW performances on the 20th are going to be collaborative efforts from the streets of Austin, but I thought I'd just throw out this visual as a reminder that the performances are meant to be RECorded.

ntheon did a great job finding this awesome pirate image, which served as an inspiration to appeal to anyone in Austin that's into "video piracy."

A bit over exposed thanks to my quick level skills in photoshop but otherwise the details would have been lost and I prefer something heavy and rough then not there at all.

I liked how, instead of using a black marker for the main sketch/outlines I used grey, and that the watercolors soaked into the lines making it seem like darker brown outlines instead of grey, so that was a nice outcome out of all that.

Quick note: The camera I usually use to share my stuff with the internet is missing its battery charger. I have a scanner now though but of course it's a generic size. Part of this (and the last Personette piece) has been cut off. I scanned it numerous of times trying to get her all in. Some sacrifices were made but easily reproduced by others if you decide to remix.

That's why we're here after all, to add/finish to others work. :)
