Wrote a fun little song. What do you think? It's pretty bare so it could definitely use some remixing. I'll upload stems soon.
Here's the lyrics
--------------------------------
Wooo
All I wanna do is spend some time with you in the sunshine
Woo
All I wanna do is spend some time with you and have a good life.
Woo
All I wanna do is spend some time with you in the sunshine
All I wanna do is spend some time with you and have a good life.
All day fun in the summer sun, always at a slow pace, never gonna run.
All I wanna do is spend some time with you in the sunshine
Woo
All I wanna do is spend some time with you and have a good life.
Woo
Cause all I wanna do is spend some time with you in the sunshine
All I wanna do is spend some time with you and have a good life.
No work and all play, all day sippin and smokin in the summer rays
Cause all I wanna do is spend some time with you in the sunshine
All I wanna do is spend some time with you and have a good life.
Woo
All I wanna do is spend some time with you in the sunshine
Woo
All I wanna do is spend some time with you and have a good life.
Woo
All I wanna do is spend some time with you in the sunshine
Woo
All I wanna do is spend some time with you and have a good life.
Haven't you ever gone out with that person who just had the worst taste in music and movies and it really bothered you? That's basically what this song is about. It's silly.
This is super remixable and there is tons of room for more instruments or drums. REMIX!!!
The song is in 4/4 and 100bpm
Here's the lyrics incase you wanna sing along.
"The other day I started loving a new lover and everything was great. You could call it love at first site, hell you could call it fate.
But then I soon found out my lover's taste. And their taste turned out to not be so great.
My new lover had never seen Star Wars. They said that science fiction was such a bore.
My new lover had never heard of Magnetic Fields, Animal Collective or even the Pixies.
My new lover had never even experienced a John Brion composed movie.
My new lover hates Wes Anderson and doesn't think Bill Murray is the man.
My new lover loves bad music
My new lover loves movies that makes me sick.
My new lover hasn't even heard of Tom fucking Waits
My new lover has never seen a Hitchcock film and hates reading subtitles.
My new lover hasn’t finished a book since high school
My new lover said they think they like a couple Beatles songs. They think?
My new lover said that they think Queen and Bowie stink. They don't stink.
My new lover loves bad music
My new lover loves movies that makes me sick.
My new lover hasn't even heard of Tom fucking Waits
I don't mean to be a jerk but this just isn't gonna work
And I don't mean to be so shallow but you've never seen Elevator to the Gallows.
Of course you don't know who Miles Davis is. Jesus fucking christ why am I even going out with you. You have the worst taste in everything.
call me when you get a little bit of culture. Alright?
What! You don't even like Michael Jackson? Fuck off!
My new lover loves bad music
My new lover loves movies that makes me sick.
My new lover hasn't even heard of Tom fucking Waits
My new lover loves bad music
My new lover loves movies that makes me sick.
My new lover hasn't even heard of Tom fucking Waits"
An electric pop song. WHY NOT?
This is kind of part 2 to Electric Loss. I used all of the same synth sounds except for the addition of one new sound.
A pretty straight foward song. Needs some vocals though.
So I decided to revisit this song and take a few things out and rerecord the beginning. Check it out.
So I liked this drum synth patch so much that I decided to go crazy with it. This was all spontaneous playing on my 25 key midi controller but I think I did some pretty cool stuff. The music Gods definitely took control of me at the end. Check it out.
I seriously hate mayonnaise with a passion so I wrote a little song about it.
For all the single people out there, I wrote us a song. Screw you Valentines day!
The second I heard KatieR90's "Hopelessly In Love" I knew I had to cover it. I pretty much kept the song the same except I added a verse at the end, changed the chorus just a tad and I think my version is a little slower.
Anyway there is plenty of room for growth on this track. Maybe some harmonies. Maybe some noise makers and piano bits and what not. I don't know, have fun.
The chords are C, G, Am, F.
The BPM is 160 for the chorus and I played half time during the verse. It's kind of tricky but you'll get the hang of the tempo.
Remix!!!
Here's a little sentimental hip hop instrumental. Well it doesn't have to be hip hop but it's got a beat to it that someone could easily flow over. So someone should defintely remix this. It's got a lot of room for growth.
Even if you don't want to rap over this you could always just pick a part of the song and sing like a hook or chorus over it.
Also there's tons of room for more instrumentation as well.
If someone wants the stems uploaded let me know and I'll put them up.
Enjoy. :)
OK so this song needs some remixing. I left two versus open at the end. I think it would be cool to have this be a love song between a guy and a girl. Kind of a duet, you know?
Also there is plenty of room for additional instruments to be played on this. I put harmonica before my verses so I think it would be cool if you pick one little instrument to signify your parts too.
It's at 100bpm
The chords are C C G Am
On the first C though I dropped my middle finger down one string. I don't know what chord that is technically.
[Lyrics]
Well you make everything OK
You are why I got out of bed today
I don't know what I'd do without your kiss
Cause you are the life raft to my sinking ship
Well I hate that we fight every day
But I love you can't be every word we say
I don't know what I'd do if I was all alone
You are why I can call something home
So this is my first Uke song I've ever written. Hopefully you like it.
I've been working on this song for almost a year. I finally finished the second verse. I'm really proud of some of these lyrics. The lyrics are resourced below in case you wanted to remix this at all. :)
I recorded this awhile back but my friend mixed it and added some new drums to it. It sounds SO much better.
Here is another song I wrote in the theme of "Forever Alone." I think I'm gonna release an E.P. called "Forever Alone." Haha.
This song has a lot of room for growth and additional instrumentation and maybe some harmonies and such. REMIX!!!
So I wrote these lyrics a long time ago but started messing around with my toy piano and it all kind of came together.
There's tons of room for additional instrumentation or harmonies. REMIX!!!
I recorded this about two years ago and could never get any further on it than what it is. It's got a lot of room for growth. Enjoy and remix.
I'm pretty happy with the way that this turned out. I added some guitar and and drums and edited the crap out of the song.
It still has some room for more cool stuff though. Like some damn ELECTRIC UKELELE!!! Let me know if anyone wants the Garageband session file. Also this track desperately needs to be mixed. If anyone has sweet mixing skills. I'm horrible at it.
It's kind of like The Pixies meets Sublime. REmix the hell out of it.
Check out this acousticy dance song I just recorded. It kind of reminds me of Modest Mouse and Why?.
I think this song might be cool in a nightmare sequence. It's got lots of layers and different parts so you could probably use bits and pieces of it.
So I actually made this beat a few years ago for this other project but I decided the other day that it would be cool to upload it here and see what everyone could do with it. I always liked this beat. Also this track could definitely use some mixing so if someone would like to take on that task I'd happily upload the stems. Just lemme know. :)
A song I wrote about rising to the top in the corporate world. I wrote and sang this. My sister Emily Brynne did the back up vocals. See, I have a humorous side too. I don't just RECord stuff about people dying. Haha lol. I don't know what anyone could do with this but here it is if you want it.
Oh and all of the music was constructed from royalty free apple loops that came with Soundtrack Pro when I bought it.
This is a project I had with my sister awhile back. This is one of the songs we recorded. All the songs we recorded had very dark themes to them. The Project was called "The New Gloom" and this song was called "I Know Where You Go". Maybe you guys can do something with it. :)
This is more of a straight forward rock song with keyboards. It's got an element of panic that I think would lend nicely to a chase sequence.
I wrote this for a little project I'm doing. I semi worship Bernard Herrmonn so whenever I try to score film projects I can't help them from being heavily influenced by his work. Or at least I think they are.
It's pretty danceable, I'm not going to lie.
I've had this idea that I want to score a movie one day and so I decided to start recording epic sounding songs. Here is the first one. I would be cool if someone would add some layers to this.
This is a pretty eerie sounding little song. It's from a project I was doing a couple of years back that I abandoned. I just came across the song I did for it and I forgot how much I like it. Enjoy. Please remix.
:)
This is an acoustic downer song that I recorded and put some cool drums and effects to. Could totally work to be remixed into someones sick ass video. Check it out and remix the shit out of it.
Love
So I came across this song that I was never happy with the way I did the vocals. So I took another stab at mixing it and I like it a lot. The music has always been perfect though. I didn't touch that. Tonguecutsparrow is and awesome RECorder. Check him out.
This is a simple little song with mostly piano in it laid over some beats and a little bit of guitar. It's just dying to be remixed. :)
It's basically all guitar driven with some simple drums. It needs layers though. Tons and tons of layers. Go crazy. :)
There isn't a whole lot of aggressive music on Hitrecord so I decided to upload this little number. Have at it, people.
This is a song I wrote because I was messing around on the keyboard while Skyping with a friend and he said he really liked the little song I was coming up with at the time so this is me expanding a little bit on it. Enjoy.
I seriously can't get enough of this tiny story and I've been wanting to contribute to the tiny stories collab for awhile now so I made this little song. Hope you like it.
Here's a little song that could use some remixing. Throw some vocals on this. REMIX!!!!
For remixing purposes, this track is 80 bpm and the chords are
C, E, Bb, A
Wanna dance like all the cool kids that are too cool to dance? Listen to this song then.
I was kind of bored from uploading all of the amoeba footage so I decided to bust out the old xylophone and toy piano and this is what I came up with. REMIX it!!!
The lyrics in this song were made up of most of the titles of the different records featured in the Recollection.
This kind of turned into like an 80's synthy hip pop song or something. I back it though.
I don't know what to say about htis one. I don't really know how to write music that well but I think I may have stumbled onto something cool with this one. Or maybe it's horrible and this will get deleted off the site.
It could use some vocals. Also it could use a good mix down. If anyone wants the stems for remixing just let me know and I'll put them up.
The song consists of ukulele, toy piano, xylaphone, harmonica and an acoustic guitar used as a bass.
I made this little piece for this other project that I'm doing but I liked the way this song turned out so I thought I'd share it and see if anyone else could do anything with it. :)
Just messing around with some distorted bass.
I decided to fuck around with some blues scales and this is what I came up with. Definitely need some remixing on this one. Get on it.
I don't even know if this would even be considered Blues but this song kind of came from this Blues scale in A I was checking out. So that's why I called it a blues riff. Am I rambling?
Sorry for the title. I know it's dumb but I just don't know what else to call it or how to describe but just as an epic instumental rock song.
This is a little song I came across on my computer that I never did anything with. SO have at it and see if you can come up with something cool. :)
I really liked Vedder's tiny story and I really felt that it went nicely with this little thing I was doing on the guitar so here it is. It's got tons of room for growth so I definitely encourage some remixing on this one.
So I wrote this song off site and although I can't upload the vocals I did for the song I can however put up the guitar track I did.
This has a lot of room for collaboration. You could sing over it and play pretty much any instrument over it.
The chords are C, G, Am, F with a capo on the fourth fret.
Enjoy and remix
-Ryan
So I heard this drum beat and was inspired right away. I spent most of yesterday and last night recording and writing this. :)
I'll post the lyrics later.
So I made this little song for something I'm doing off site so I'm not going to upload my vocals but I thought it would be fun to see if someone else could put their own vocals and lyrics to this. Pammy did a great job with the last instrumental I uploaded so maybe we can recreate that magic.
Anyone wanna take a crack at this?
The chords are G, C, E, Am and I have a capo on the 4th fret
Remix!
This is a super simple chilled out song that could use some chill vocals to it or easily be used as kind of background music to a video of someone talking. Like maybe in your ReREC video or something. I dunno just some ideas.
I wrote a dance song. So... Dance.
-------------------Lyrics--------------------------
I've got arms. I've got legs and I've got an ass that I can shake. shake shake shake shake shake shake shake shake!
You got lips. You got hips. you got a really pretty face. shake shake shake shake shake shake shake shake!
We got bodies. we got time and we're both really drunk on wine. Shake shake shake shake shake shake shake shake!
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah BLAH blah blah! shake shake shake shake shake shake shake shake!
I normally write downer music but for some reason last night I decided to write an uplifting inspirational song. This would be a good song to prepare for the big fight to. Running on a treadmill or pre-gaming before you go out to the bar with your friends.
And now a fast song I wrote about my love for cats.
So I just figured out how to do this sampling thing on Garageband so I spliced up this song. Kinda has a House of Glitch feel to it I think. I dunno. Check it out.
So I chopped up the Spaceship version of Nothing Big. Definitely would love some feedback.
Finally got to use my catboard in a song. I'm kinda new to making hip hop beats so this is definitely a little rough. If someone wants the stems for remixing let me know and I'll upload them. Plus that would be sick if someone would lay a verse or two on top of this. \
:)
Alright I'm kind of getting into making hip hop tracks. Here's my latest one. Let me know if you want me to upload the stems if you wanna remix this.
It would be cool if someone added some vocals to this.
:)
I made another hip hop instrumental. Definite room for growth on this one. Let me know if you'd like me to upload the stems for remixing.
Also this song will sound best with headphones or a sub. There's lots of low end.
Here's a little song I wrote as like a background piece that could easily be thrown into something. Or you could always add to it. Super simple though.
I've been sitting on this for well over a year and and never was completely happy with my vocals (I'm still not) but I decided to record one more take of my vox and just put it out. I think it would be cool if someone else (with a better voice) would do a version of this. I resourced Kampaign's bad ass song so you just need to download it and sing over it.
Here are the lyrics I wrote. Feel free to change them around or tweak them to your liking.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And I know what you want
and I know what I got
and I know you won't get caught
but I know who you really are
I know the smoke is not from you have another life at night but I still want you to be mine.
You are you are you are you are
you are you are you are you are
You are you are you are you are
what I want
You are you are you are you are
you are you are you are you are
You are you are you are you are
All I got
Well I know you treat me like shit
But I've grown used to it
And I know you'll never leave
cause I know you still love me
You smell like you been in love with someone else but I don't care as long as I can call you mine.
You are you are you are you are
you are you are you are you are
You are you are you are you are
what I want
You are you are you are you are
you are you are you are you are
You are you are you are you are
All I got
I'll never leave, yeah I'll never leave, no I'll never leave, yeah I'll never leave
You are you are you are you are
you are you are you are you are
You are you are you are you are
what I want
You are you are you are you are
you are you are you are you are
You are you are you are you are
all i got
I wrote a little verse for this song. I seriously love this track. I wish it was about three minutes long though. Maybe someone could extend it and add a few more verses. Just a thought.
Here are my lyrics I wrote.
--------------------------------------------------------
Sometimes I like to sing when I get fucked up
Sometimes I like to scream to the heavens above
Sometimes I keep going after I've had enough
Sometimes I feel the weirdest kind of love
Yeah we're all in love but it's kind of weird
it's kind of weird
it's kind of weird
love is just so weird
It comes and it goes
It's too much or never shows
it flourishes or never grows
it nourishes or just lets go
It's kind of weird
it's kind of weird
love is just so weird
Sometimes I feel the weirdest kind of love
I've been messing around with some synths and beats and what not and this is what I came up with.
Just a quick little musical bumper that you could throw in the intro to your rerec video or something like that. Or you could loop it as background music. Just messing around. Nothing special.
Just found this amazing tune and had to sing over it. I've had the story of the girl and the gator floating around in my head for awhile so this seemed like the perfect place to put it.
There's definitely some room for harmonies and remixing so have fun.
Lemme know if you want me to upload the stem of my vocals.
So I'm putting together some songs for my sister to sing on but I decided to upload the instrumental tracks I made. It's total hip hop/pop style which I know it's not the norm for hitrecord but someone might be able to remix it.
Also this is the first real song that I've recorded since switching over to Logic so the track definitely sounds a lot more crisp than my other songs.
Enjoy and happy remixing.
I wanna hear some fucking vocals on this. Somone handle that.
booyah!
I need sleep. haha.
Made a super chill, super simple beat. I wanted to kind of just lay the foundation for something that could grow.
This could go in a number of different ways so add layers to it all day.
Let me know if you want stems for remixing.
Just messing around with some sounds on logic and came across these cool African drum sounds and instruments and what not. Decided to put together this little piece.
Let me know if you want stems for remixing.
:)
I made a little funk song out of some royalty free apple loops. Could be used as a little background song for a rerec video or any video really. Definitely background music.
Decided to write a verse for this song because the beat is SO FUCKING DOPE! Also I really liked Ray's verse so I decided to sneak that in there as well.
Just messing around with some synth sounds. Could use some vocals. Anyone wanna try?
I've been trying to teach myself how to play the piano and write songs with it so here's a little one I just put together.
Lots of room for remixing. Have fun.
OK I'm really happy with the way this turned out. But this track wasn't hard to make because Madison's guitar and Ashes vocals were both equally amazing.
I took this little song they did and turned it into a beat. Now the chorus is there but I left two 16 bar verses open for people to rap over, sing over or do whatever over.
This needs vocalists so have at it people.
I can't wait to see what you all do with this.
Also I'll humbly take any suggestions you might have as far as the arrangement for the song goes or the mix or whatever.
:)
Note: You should check out the original version of this song too. It's amazing by itself. I chopped up and time stretched the fuck out of everything to make it a beat.
Just a witchy sounding hip hop track I made.
Here's another witchy sounding track.
Here's a chilled out instrumental I did. Could use vocals and a new mix. I'll upload stems later tonight.
Here's a little tune. Definitely needs some vocals.
Just wrote and recorded this. I like it. But it needs vocals. Someone make that happen
I've been wanting to write a song in 3/4 on the piano for awhile and this song and title popped in my head on my drive home from work tonight and I started working on it right when I got home.
This definitely needs some lyrics and vocals to it.
Let's have some fun with this one.
:)
Wrote this song yesterday. Could definitely use some vocals and additional instrumentation. It definitely needs a bass line. Have fun.
So I came up with the idea for this while I was grocery shopping yesterday and I couldn't shake it so I decided to just run with it today. I kind of got stuck after the first verse and chorus though so maybe someone could assist me with writing the lyrics for this one.
There needs to be another verse and a bridge. Also I don't really have any ideas where to take this musically for the bridge so maybe songwriters could help with that one too.
After the first chorus I just repeated the piano parts for the verse and chorus so incase someone wants to sing over it or do whatever with it.
Let me know if you need more information about the song.
-Lyrics-
I was fine listening to cake and third eye blind
Then someone said, you should listen to Radiohead
That's when things started to change
I never looked at the world the same
I see fine but now I wear glasses
I've never got the time but I recycle plastics
I wear tight pants and I don't dance
I just stand around in a cool stance
My favorite bands you've never heard
Now I make my own clothes and I make up words
Cause I am indier than you
Cause I am indier than you
So I decided that I'm going to make one beat a day for the next 30 days. This is the first one. It ended up being more of a fun little song rather than a hip hop beat but whatevs. I think I'm actually just going to upload the beginning part with the bass line and loop it over and over because I think that might be cool for people to freestyle over.
ANYWHO
I'll upload stems tomorrow or the next day. Enjoy and happy remixing.
So raw
This song is made up entirely of the instruments from Enjoy The Ride. I took the stems and sampled up and cut em up and made this little beat with them. Would love to hear some vocals over this one. :)
Got Synth?
Let's see if someone can put vocals on top of this one. Any takers?
Here's another synthy track I wrote tonight. Could definitely use some lyrics and vocals on it. Any takers?
So this track definitely has a lot of room in it. Maybe some synth or guitar parts and definitely some vocals. I'm thinking some breathy, sexy vocals. But do whatever you want. Have fun and happy remixing.
Alright so Kelly Morris and Kelly Day did an amazing job on this song with the vocals. I decided to try and remix my guitar tone and add new drum sounds to it. I seriously fucking love this song. I'm not too happy with my mix though and would love for another producer to come in and try to do a proper mix of this song. I'll upload the stems on Friday.
Enjoy
:)
Here's a pretty chill track I made. Could definitely use some sexy vocals.
So this track could use a few things
Bass
Drums and or percussion
Lyrics and vocals
Download it and add something to it. Simple as that.
I wrote this song last year for this E.P. I came out with but decided to upload just the instrumental track and see what other people could do with it because I really like the instrumental part of this song but was never really happy with the vocals I did. Enjoy and happy remixing.
:)
Wear headphones for this one or make sure you got some good low end going on. Crappy laptop speakers won't cut it for this song.
This track definitely needs some vocals on it. Also there's tons of room for additional instrumentation. Get on it. :)
Here's a little love song I wrote for someone special.
For remixing purposes the song is 120bpm. I put a kapo on the 5th fret and the chords I use are G, C, Am and F. Let me know if you'd want the stems.
lyrics
I like it best when your lipstick is a mess.
It's like telling the world, "I'm in love and I'm a girl."
I love your face when your hair is all over the place.
It's like telling the world, "I'm in love and I'm a girl."
She is the sun. She is the one. She is my world she's my life she's the girl I'm gonna call my wife.
I'll never get bored of hearing your vocal chords.
It's like singing to the world, "I'm in love and I'm a girl."
I'll always know where I'm going with your heart glowing
it's like signaling to the world, "I'm in love and I'm a girl."
She is the sun. She is the one. She is my world she's my life she's the girl I'm gonna call my wife.
